We are Famous!

True Madridstas will be infuriated at the classless-ness of their current personnel. They have a classless manager in Jose Mourinho who’s behavior has certainly rubbed off on the players for the worse. The violent and dirty play from Ramos, Pepe, and co. has certainly been encouraged by Mourinho as we see it on a consistent basis.

Furthermore, they are damaging the reputation of the club and they don’t have anyone as an exemplary figure. The likes of Zidane, Raul, and Roberto Carlos have long departed but have not been replaced. Their skills, maybe, but their characters haven’t.

Jose Mourinho was upset about the refereeing in the match and he decided that it’s time to start his ‘siege mentality’ tactic. For those unfamiliar, what Jose Mourinho does is create controversy during the crunch time of the season. He calls conspiracies and does radical things which will enable the media to put the spotlight on him in a negative light.

He then starts feeding off this energy and tells his team that everyone is against us. Being the master communicator that he is, he can relay this message very effectively and practically brainwash the players. It was reported that Wesley Sneijder and Materazzi came out and said they would die for Mourinho!
Anyhow, he uses the siege mentality tactic to unite the players and make them play for each other and play better overall. Perhaps it worked once, but it will not work again.

He is doing Real Madrid a disservice with his attitude and the fans are voicing their opinions about it. Football forums like Goal Legacy and Big Soccer contain massive communities of fans who are speaking their minds about the situation.

Perhaps they will forgive Mourinho if he manages to bring Madrid ‘La Decima’, which is their tenth Champions League trophy in club history. Perhaps the Real Madrid organization knew that Mourinho’s behaviors could be forgiven if he brings La Decima. Perhaps they are desperate for success in the Champions League after a long hiatus, and will do anything to win, just like Mourinho himself.
