Shalke all the way baby, Raul to bring Shalke to glory.
It is...
But I am part of the large group of Basque's that honor the Spanish flag and hope for further unison despite all the crimes the Castilla commit against us.
What I mean is more for Liga pride.
But believe me, it isn't anywhere near as weird as you think though.
haha fair enough
I'm just supporting a Madrid legend and hoping that has some more success late in his career.
Its 100% understandable.
He is the player I fear most within Schalke as it is.
I just don't want him to gain on Pippo's lead though even further

TBH I think Athletic have the quality over Shalke, realistically Athletic should be taking this game easily.
That being said this is football and as we all know anything can happen.

Well, Schalke can be very determined in their time, so better not count them out just so. Remember Valencia and Inter last season - then they weren't given the chance of a snowflake in hell either.

Spanish pride my ass, how can you say that and then support Pippo over Raul anyway
Anyway, I am very butthurt over this draw as I wanted Schalke to have an easier way. Or Raul to beat up Atleti again
GO SCHALKE!

I'll be cheering on Valencia simply because they have ninjas as footballers. Also, they need the money...

Final is in Romania(neutral ground)
Pathetico will annihilate them big time...
Patheticos football under Simeone>>>>>>Bilbao's football under Biesla
EDIT: my bad thought LM was commenting on a possible Bilbao vs Pathetico final

Schalke is a quality team. And they are way better than Leverkusen.

I reckon they feel the same way about you too.
Anyway, I would like to advertise that Valencia are in a better position in La Liga and have an easier tie and we need the money.
Yes, I have adopted Valencia as my team and got rid of those stinky Real Madrid ties...

I still harbour affection for Huntelaar - whom Leonardo completely misused - however I'm supporting Bilbao all the way to the final.
I'm sure I have Basque in me somewhere in my ancestry.

When HGH eventually catches up to Messi he won't be able to reach the mighty Raul's record

By applying the transitive property of equality, I believe that you have found a way to adjust your heritage. Capital thinking! I see no choice but to support Bilbao now... (I was already planning to. This just gives me a better reason.)
In any case, this tie looks to be one of the best of the next round of European fixtures. I'm so excited.

GO SCHALKE!
Because despite my fanship of Raul, he was a flop for our NT and Pippo means far more too me considering he is a Milan Legend.

Sadly, the EL doesn't even give you enough money to buy a small plate of Pinxtos.

All my obnoxious Basque spread actually has a purpose. And now I am seeing it fruitfully develop within this forum.
I expect both of you now to continuously post in my Basque thread with in depth analysis.
OT:
Schalke definitely cannot be underestimated. The veltins arena has a fierce atmosphere along with Schalke having a solid squad. They possess players like the young but talented Draxler, the legendary Raul, the predetory Jan-Klass Huntelaar and of course who I rate as Germany's best CB/RB, Benedikt Hoewedes.
I personally feel man to man and manager to manager, Bilbao take it over Schalke in most aspects. But all this cockiness about Bilbao must stop as Schalke will provide a definite challenge and as RWO proved, they have a tendency to make brilliant comebacks when down on leads.
But... if Bielsa manages to control his formation changing seizures, than I feel Bilbao can even comfortably overcome Schalke so as long as we play the best sytem that worked so well at OT and the Mames. the 4-2-3-1.
