Best Wing in the World?
What is the best full wing in the world today, consisting of winger and fullback/wingback? I think Ribery & Lahm are the best, but Marcelo & Ronaldo are good too, as well as Robben & Van Der Wiel (Netherlands) and Lahm & Podolski too.

Would have to be Marcelo/Ronaldo
If Messi still played on the wings I would mention him

Re: Best Wing in the World?
I wouldn't have considered Marcelo/Ronaldo a few months ago, because the both of them put together were like 0.5 men defensively. However, Ronaldo's been doing quite well defensively these days.

Napoli are way overrated on this forum
Don't get me wrong I love Cavani, but seriously they have been terrible in a pretty poor Serie A

Only 5pts off 3rd spot is not that bad. And they are on a 5 game winning streak. Besides, Maggio is awesome.

Rayo Vallecano is only 4 points off 4th, doesn't make them any less shit in the league lmao

They must have done something right to be 4pts of 4th, no?
Anyway, this is not about Rayo Vallecano or Napoli's position....
It's about Maggio. He's a great player and links-up well with Lavezzi and especially well with Hamsik to be one of the 'best wings' in the world on their day. I'd take Maggio over Marcelo.

Re: Best Wing in the World?
Lahméry are most complete, but on current form (as of past 3 or 4 weeks) they're meh.
When on form they edge Marcenaldo because they defend f ar better, and are less predictable going forward.
Currently it is Ronaldo and Marcelo, Real is just flying so much higher than Bayern these days, no matter that Lahm used to be far better than Marcelo, especially defensively. He just isn't these past few weeks, and I'll consider him worse until he regains his form.
Also, Ronaldo is starting to help out defensively since Mou came.

Lahm-Ribéry when on form.
Honorable mention to the deadly Lahm-Robben combo, which sadly doesn't exist anymore.

Re: Best Wing in the World?
If Messi still played as a winger, I'd give the edge to "Messi and the ballboy", the kind of form the kid is in.

Re: Best Wing in the World?
It's official : Marcelo is the most underrated player in the world. (can't defend, failed winger, not a LB etc)
