Getting a starting berth in Mourinho’s team is not as easy as many might think because he demands so much from his players especially during training. Just ask a certain Kaka. If this is the case then Real will maintain the 4-2-3-1 shape that they’ve been using.

In a three-man midfield Nuri Sahin would be the midfield link between defensive midfield and attacking midfield. A three-man midfield with him in it would look like this

Alonso or Khedira——Sahin——–Ozil or Kaka.

The way Lass started and played in a 4-3-3 yesterday made me deeply concerned. Ok, if Mou doesn't like Sahin, Granero would do but 4-3-3 with Khedira+Lass+Alonso was such a epic fail. Lass is a total liability for now, high turnover rate all over the place :lol!:

Yeah, see the game out without problems-> keep possession/ game under control. He just did that.
If Mou wants to secure 1-0 wins, he should introduce him instead of Lass or ' I can't defend' Granero :facepalm:

TBF Mou has been warming him up the past games but didn't introduce him becouse we had 1-0 leads lol

Maybe wasn't after his head, just doesn't want to risk playing him in a intense game since he hasn't played a game in 6 months or so lol

I thought he was playing very well, despite him playing the Xabi role and Khedira playing more advanced ( :facepalm:

). Dont know why Mou took him off at half time.

he played well i thought, i understand why mou took him off. his role was somewhat unnecessary since sporting were playing only defenders and 1 attacker, no real need for a midfield.

Need to keep some balance in the side, Khedira being more defensive allows for less mistakes in the back, we needed a goal so Sahin was the logical one to come off, although I don't think we would have missed Arbeloa at all lmao.

Once we had the goal that structure came back with Granero coming on.
