Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
A rest he may need. He has worked heard and deserves the rest! Time to show what Tito has learnt from him and use it next season!

Albiceleste wrote:Very interesting comments from Abidal I dug up from a couple of years ago.."This Barca team began with Pep and will come to an end when he leaves. If he stays with the club for another 4-5 years, he will leave a lasting legacy …
He knows how to get the best out of our game, especially when we are facing difficulties as he had proven last season. He is good with his words that the team manages to perfect its ways.
When Pep goes, a new page in history will be opened, but I think it will not be for a long time, at least ten years."
Intresting comments, but I dont think Abidal had in mind Vilanova taking over from him..

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Iker Casillas (Real Madrid): "Guardiola leaving Barça? I guess in Barcelona they will be grateful for what he has achieved."
Tw Eladio Parames (personal spokesman Mourinho): "Well done, Iker Casillas! Why paying tribute? Guardiola just left a club."

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Guys I havent been able to keep up to date with absolute everything about Pep leaving.... but I gathered most opinion is that his words are true and that he is just tired and wants a break. If he continues on in this state, it would not be best for Barca since he wont be able to provide fully? But is this all of it?
A few things that puzzling still, why annonuce it 2 days after the Chelsea defeat and not until after season or closer? Since he said he made his mind up in October, why annonuce it now? The timing just makes it a bit weird?
Also, it really comes at a time when the team is looking a bit out of new ideas and looking a bit tired at times even, which is contradicting from what we know here that our fitnese should peak at this stage.
Its all nice talk, but in reality I cant help but feel its also things are starting to not work out, like couples, and not a divorce, but a period of time when the couple need to separate and time apart for the good of both
Whats everyone's REAL opinion of the REAL reason?
And obviously at the qoutes above and thank you so much Pep for the glorious few years and really earned respect from football worldwide and made this team historic!

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Yes I know.
Media like to make things out of nothing, seeing as Ibra and Pep had their little thing it makes sense now to continue with that and proclaim Messi now has a problem.

Well, I hope so Dani. Probably born out of Messi not attending Pep's farewell conference.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Probably, but Messi explained all that and it made perfect sense to me.
The way Pep and Messi talk about each other tells me all I need to know, its too much to even be remotely faked.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
Is it me.... Or Pep looks like he burps every 2 lines he speaks? I've been watching his press conferences and always noticed that he seems to either jerk his back or just burp internally whenever he finishes a sentence or two.
No hate intended just a remark

In that case, you must have a brain fart every single time just before you type something on the interwebs?

It might be some underlying medical condition we never know. I've never seen someone talk like him it just makes things awkward and it looks like he's going to regurgitate his whole meal on the press room.

Still got two more games before he goes. Can't wait what he does especially in the charity match...

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
I would frankly hate to see him go to another club. So how many of us think that Pep might still be our coach if Laporta or a Cruyffist were still president? I most definitely do.
On the plus side, if he goes to another club, will he take Keita with him?

I dont get this. Most everyone seems to be of the opinion that Pep is leaving because of Rossell. Why should that be so?
Rossell may be the devil incarnate but he has done everything in his power to keep Pep happy.Got him all the players Pep asked for including the Prodigal Son,something Laporta himself couldnt do.

Re: Pep Guardiola : El Puto Amo!
With Fergie's retirement rumours next season, I wonder if Pep's move to an English speaking locale like NYC might suggest he could be weighing up a move to the Premiership and United
