I have not seen Busquets dive in ages honestly and him faking injuries are considerably more rare too.

I dont know what has happened but I rarely see any antics from him this season.

Great composure. Didnt have the best of games, overcomplicated the situation at times, but he was a little unlucky..it seemed like the first hour of the game, 80% of the ball he received were in tricky positions.

On the goal though, Courtois :facepalm:

Why are you falling for fakes when you have a defender there to block the way?

He also cant sprint, cant jump and has very little power and strength.

He wont ever be a danger at set peices.

This is why when people point out that Song is the same height and (so the logic goes) would be no improvement in set pieces I disagree. Song has a terrific vertical jump and while he hasn't really done much more for us in set pieces I think he can be much more effective than Busquets at them.

People say that? Odd.

I dont know why height is the only thing people look at in terms of aerial prowess. Sure, its the obvious one and its important but there are many more factors.

People are worring about 3 inches of height difference when guys have 6, 7, 8 inches difference in vertical leap.

Probably Mascherano.

He been around longer, is/was Argentine captain while Busquets is merely a role player for Spain.

Plus dont underestimate Mascherano played in England, that probably counts for alot.

Probably Mascherano, he's played in 4 different countries on very high profile teams, captained the NT, and arrived with quite a bit of fanfare to the biggest team in the world.

Mascherano, but within age if Sergio keeps his form constantly he will surpass him as more people will recognize the talent he really is.

When he outjumped Balo and then Balo faked it like Busquets gave him an elbow to the face Laughing

He was fantastic last night, agreed. I remember one instance as well where he won the ball, and quickly played a pass that put us on the counter and could have been a goalscoring opportunity.

Sergio Busquets has completed 93.6% of his long balls this season. The highest accuracy in Europe's top 5 leagues.

And supposedly Pep is interested in bring him to Bayern next season.

Because I didn't want to spend money on it and my parents never know good gifts for me besides books, I typically ask for a Barca jersey. Mentioned that jersey for Christmas and birthday and got it neither time Proud

I would be interested to see how that compares with previous seasons seeing that Busquets always had high interceptions.

Also surprising that Iniesta does not have a single pass before the assist.
