Pastore or Ganso?
Both are around the same age and play the same position.

Re: Pastore or Ganso?
Ganso has been extremely meh everytime I've seen him. Yes, I know he had a bad Copa América, but I was extremely underwhelmed.
Pastore while inconsistent at least is getting better and better.

Re: Pastore or Ganso?
I watched Ganso some. He is injury prone. If he fixes those injuries and performs consistently then I'll gladly discuss how good/bad he is Pastore on the other hand is super inconsistent whether injured or not. If I had the choice between him and Jovetic right now, I'd take the later without hesitationNes-T33 wrote:you guys dont even watch ganso, whats the point of comparing them?actually,i dont even think most here watch psg....

Re: Pastore or Ganso?
Pastore is world class on form imo, but still inconsistent. Ganso seems like either a late bloomer or just injury prone since I've never seen him play well like sushi said.

No but on the times i have seen him play he hasn't played up to hype for me. I sometimes catch a Santos game here and there, I most recently watched Santos and Palmeiras.Mr Nick09 wrote:Albiceleste wrote:Pastore is world class on form imo, but still inconsistent. Re: Pastore or Ganso?
Ganso any day of the week. Milan fans not even wanting Pastore and dying for Ganso speaks volumes.
Pastore even at Palermo was incredibly inconsistent, drifted in and out of games, and didn't exactly wow us in big games.
Ganso on the other hand, if he just improves his somewhat frail mentality, overcomes injuries, he will become into the world class player some of us predict he will.
Thankfully, atm he is performing just that to his old form.
I like Pastore, but far to inconsistent and lacks control over the game for me.
TBH, both should not be criticized for their international form since the teams are simply headed by managers with the managerial ability Fadi.

Ganso really needs to come to Europe.
Interested to see how he'll adjust to the pace.

Xavi is in a very unique system
Out of those 3 who would you describe him as most like?

Re: Pastore or Ganso?
hes a hybrid between Xavi and Rivaldo, considering Ganso plays in a more offensive position (rivaldo) but with the same characteristics as Xavi,80% of his game is made up of passing

Doesn't say anything for me tbh, some of the opinions were along the lines of "hes argentinian, I don't want him"Arquitecto wrote:Ganso any day of the week. Milan fans not even wanting Pastore and dying for Ganso speaks volumes.

What do you exactly expect him to win with Palermo?Nes-T33 wrote:Yes,but i mean,Pastore has done nothing much in Europe really....not a big difference in terms of rep,at least ganso won a libertadores

I'm speaking of the non-Brazilian populace. We simply did not want him because of his inconsistency, drifting in and out of games and lack of presence.
As for Palermo, who expects him to win? But people at least expect him to perform on a consistent basis and show up when the team needs him.
Yes yes the Mr.X thing was a farce and I would kill to have Pastore right now, but Ganso was the player Milan needed as he establishes better control of the game with his composure, passing and vision. Pastore is more of a direct player similar to Lamela (a player who I rate quite highly).
