Why, so we can listen to him complain about not getting games, or to see him play on the wings some more?
He's run his course with us, and we have other options at his position.

Bendtner is a fool, he should never allowed back at Arsenal.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
He's currently miles better than leg transplant Chamakh, and we desperately need a backup striker to rotate with van Persie. The season on loan would have gotten him into shape and form.
This depends on where Podolski will be primarily played, though. If he's being stuck at left wing as a standard position, he can backup VP if needed at striker, but a bench option will still be needed.
Bendtner or Vela, guys?

Vela and Bendtner will never be seen in Arsenal shirt again```, they both have said many times they dont want to come back.
I would not mind giving Vela a chance, I am sure he can do better job than most players who are getting playing time at Arsenal.

neither. it's time to move on from them.
it'd be better to go forward keeping chamakh and park as bench strikers, bringing along joel campbell, and even podolski and walcott as immediate options at ST to back up van Persie.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I dont care about Bendtner being better than Chamakh.. Hate his attitude.. Will keep creating problems in our happy squad.. And dont worry we will get some backup for RVP this summer..
But i would like to have Vela back but not sure whether he can play no.9 for Arsenal..

Vela is having great season so far, that might either raise his price tag or actually gives him a chance at Arsenal.
I'm torn with Bendy and Vela, both are better than Chammakh & Park but none willing to take bench role.

Vela over Bendtner any day of the week. But neither doesn't want to return - so I hope we get as much as possible from them and Arshavin aswell and get another backup for van Persie and Podolski and a replacement for Arshavin.

Meh say what you want about Bendtner, but one thing he has that Chamakh hasn't shown in a while is an abundance of confidence

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Evidently, Vela is benefitting greatly from being in an environment that suits him and playing every week. Putting aside the fact that he doesn't want to come back for the moment, Vela wouldn't be as good for us as he is for Soceidad because he's not as appreciated here and he wouldn't get to play every game.
That's why it'd be best to just move on from him. It's a shame because he's such a good talent, but then, we're never going to see the extent of that talent if he can't play every game.

Acharaf Lazaar: Everything Arsenal Need To Know About The “New Gareth Bale”
Arsene Wenger's apparently been keeping tabs on Varese's highly rated left back Acharaf Lazaar. Could he be the solution to Arsenal's left back problem?
The class of 1992 are beginning to make their breakthrough around Europe but while the likes of Jack Wilshere, Iker Munian and David Alaba are grabbing headlines and international caps, outside the confines of Varese very few will be familiar with the name of Acharaf Lazaar.
In fact, every few probably know where Varese is – head some 50kms north-west of Milan and you will find it – although it probably gets more traffic heading to AC Milan’s Milanello training complex, nearby.
However, the Serie B club are a world away from the current Serie A champions but it has been where the 20-year-old Lazaar has been developing his talent away from the spotlight.
If the reports are to be believed that Arsenal are tracking a unknown in the Italian game then that tranquility is about to change for the Casablanca-born, Italian-raised player who has yet to make his first-team debut – and is in fact still officially in the youth team which in Italy is really a glorified reserve pool of youngsters on the cusp of adulthood.
Generally, for these young hopefuls their next stop will be some backwater on loan, not one of Europe’s leading lights and although Lazaar’s displays at youth level have stood out, making the great leap forward is another matter.
Certainly the tag of the ‘new Garth Bale’ does not help but the source of these glowing comparisons comes from Varese sporting director Mauro Milanese and the player’s agent who of course have a vested interest in promoting their young prospect.
However, he does possess a similar build to the Welsh wiz, standing at around 6ft, coupled with blistering pace and more than that a left foot to match his exceptional work-rate.
He may have started out as a left-back, but as with most young players in Italy he has honed his technique playing in numerous roles in his short career, and last season was employed as a support-striker in the team’s run to the Youth Cup final where he scored in the 3-2 defeat to AS Roma.
Former youth team coach Devis Mangia, who was in charge at Palermo for the first four months of this season, understood that his pace would be an asset further forward and selected him on the left side of midfield, but his reasoning was also part of a learning curve to identify with what he will have to face when he eventually settles into his career at full-back.
An excellent disciplinary record is not only a product of his natural ability to out-accelerate opponents which has ensured he rarely mistimes a challenge, but also possessing a level-headed attitude to his profession.
At present the foundations are there but Varese are well aware that they can only take the player so far in his development and if a window of opportunity opens then he will not take much encouragement to jump through it.

^^ Made me lol so much. Btw, Gibbs isn't too old himself - doubt we are in for any more full backs now. We have Sagna-Santos as the older players, and Gibbs-Jenks as back ups.
Apart from selling Squid and maybe buying Vertonghen, I don"t see any changes in defense. (Fabianski might leave, but I think that might depend on Euros).

Said it before, but I cannot see a reason to sign Yann M'Vila. Sure, he's a promising talent and all but he's not really what we need in midfield. Song/Wilshere and Song/Arteta are two very good partnerships in midfield and all it needs is some extra creativity.

Don't bring Vela back as you guys said
M'vila is not what we need , believe me i saw him play a lot . he is perfect in a busquets-role sit back to protect the back four and keep the play simple. we don't play with pur DM . i'm not saying he is as good as busquets or something like that

I liked the idea of buying M'vila and using Song as a box to box midfielder.
If not, I say develop Frimpong for that DM role.

lmao exactly, there's no room for M'Vila. We need a Götze/Sigurdsson/Hazard type of player not another defensive/box-to-box midfielder.
Same for Vertonghen, we already have 4 players in that position and I doubt he'd like to be 4th choice. And if we sign him then we should sell Djourou or Squillaci or both. There's Bartley aswell.
Sign Podolski and another attack-minded midfielder and we'd be great.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Coquelin's got a lot more finesse to his play than Frimpong so I don't know if a DM role would suit him as well. I'd loan him out and develop Frimpong. Possibly loan out Ramsey if his form is still off going into the preseason, to give Frimmy some game time.

I am fine with that lol, also finesse type DM's are fantastic because they are hardly ever out of position......
They are not as flashy as physical DM's but quite frankly what the finesse ones do is twice as effective.....
Lucas and Busquets being prime examples..... personally feel Coquelin will better than Frimpong who i dont think will be at Arsenal for very long unless he accepts a bench role.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Coquelin would be a waste of his potential if used as a pure DM. I'll say it again, he's almost as good as wilshere is. Way more dynamic than just a defensive player, he can do it ALL.
M'Vila is unnecessary, but if he's good i dont care if we get him. Rather have really good players that may not be necessary rather than too many marginal players.

Alex Song's agent rules out move away from Arsenal this summer. "Gunners won't sell him." - http://www.tribunnews.com/2012/04/27/alex-song-bantah-pindah-ke-inter-milan
Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I'd confidently pick a more physical DM like De Rossi over the finesse ones you mentioned.
