Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Chamakh and Park 2 players should be getting minutes, but Wenger has other ideas for them.

it's calciomercato, you shouldnt even pay attention to them.
But i doubt you will sign him, he has no intention of becoming a sub player to a big star.

RVP-Ju-Marouane-Mick bendtnoooor-Vela
them 4 out
Podolski & Giroud IN
at first it looks like football manager or whatever
but it is very likely that all of them leave us
so even if giving Afobe more chances and Joel becomes ready to compete in first team (work permit as well)
+signing Poldi we still need someone in Giroud's mould
so much assumption i know
also how should we show we are ambitious?

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Well that's pissed me off. We're driving these young, talented players out of the door literally, into the hands of enemies, whilst keeping a bunch of has-beens and ineffective tripe on chunky contracts snd fat weekly pay checks. Of the outcast bunch at Arsenal, Vela was easily, head and shoulders, above everyone else. Better than Bendtner, better than Park, better than Denilson, i'd even say more talented than Walcott. Now we've messed him around enough that he doesn't want to come back.
Awesome.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Gunners head N'Zonzi chase
Transfer battle to resume for Blackburn midfielder
Sky Sports understands that Arsenal are now leading the chase for Blackburn star Steven N'Zonzi.
A host of clubs were chasing the Frenchman in January, with Stoke making a move to try and lure him from Ewood Park.
Blackburn stood firm and the player was happy to stay until the summer and help with Rovers' battle against relegation.
But it now seems that N'Zonzi is ready to move on at the end of the season, with a host of clubs ready to do battle.
Interest
Sky Sports understands( ) that N'Zonzi has moved towards the top of Arsene Wenger's wanted list following a string of excellent displays.
Wenger is already a confirmed fan, with his interest first emerging when Arsenal were linked with the former Amiens man back in 2010.
The Emirates boss has maintained an interest in the 23-year-old and it is believed the Gunners are now in pole position to land him.
However, there is extensive interest in N'Zonzi with Chelsea, Tottenham and Newcastle all keeping tabs on him.

why the hell would we need giroud for? thats just retarded. if podolski comes in he can play second fiddle to rvp and also play on the wing. giroud on the bench is a waste, and would hold back players like campbell for no reason. in addition we would need to spend money on other areas like midfield. what id like is podolski and for midfield i'd like gotze. that would be a good summer for me.

youre right, but if we buy podolski, we probably wont get greedy and buy giroud. his price starts at 16m i believe. until we drop big money on a transfer target, im inclined to believe we wont

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Lukas Podolski could leave Koln for Arsenal for as little as €10 million (£8.5m) due to a clause in his contract, according to Express.
The RheinEnergieStadion club had hoped to obtain a fee of around €20m (£16m) for their star man, but should Stale Solbakken's side be relegated from the top flight this season, Podolski could be allowed to leave for less.

i hate to wish them to relegate but :hungry:

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I heard Giroud's release clause is actually £13.5mil...
In any case, we have to consider what's going to happen with van Persie. If van Persie leaves, signing Podolski and Giroud would not be a bad thing. If van Persie stays, than only one of them would be necessary.
Afobe and Campbell are both likely to go out on loan again, as well. So it's not like we'd be killing them off, either.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
N'Zonzi isn't good enough. He never has been in my eyes. This is exactly like when we were linked with a certain Wigan player that ended up flopping hardly so far for Aston Villa.
I refuse to entertain the idea that RVP won't be here next season. The thought breaks my heart

Sources in Spain reporting that Barcelona will sell winger Pedro if they receive an "important" bid. Would you take him?
Remember, Tello is out of contract too. Hot prospect.

No. Enough with Barca players. Don't care how good they are any more. The better they are, the worse it would be for us. Pretty sure those scum would put in a ruddy buy back clause.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Bayern Munich forward Arjen Robben could make a sensational return to the Premier League this summer alerting the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham reports the Sunday Mirror.
The 28-year-old Dutch international scored twice in an impressive 3-2 victory for the Netherlands over England at Wembley in midweek - a welcome relief from the criticism he has received during his time with the Bundesliga giants.
"It was great to play at Wembley and to see many people I know," said Robben. "It was only my second international game for Holland since the World Cup and it was great that this was in London at Wembley."
Robben, who had three hugely successful seasons in England with Chelsea, has just over one year to run on his existing Bayern contract, and could escape Germany this summer for a bargain £10million fee.
"I don’t have an ideal situation in Germany," he admitted. "I am now considering the options I have and I will get.
"I can try put up a brave face and make out all the things in Munich do not effect me, but of course it gets on my nerves and effects me. I just needed this game against England so much. It was a joy to be playing at my best again."
Robben was a massive success at Stamford Bridge before moving to Real Madrid, and then later switching to Bayern, and could well tempt Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger into an attempt to bring him to the Emirates Stadium this summer, as a foil for Gunners captain and international teammate Robin van Persie.
However, the Frenchman will likely face further competition for the winger's signature from north London rivals Tottenham - a move that would also see Robben link up with another compatriot Rafael Van der Vaart at White Hart Lane.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I'd love someone of his caliber here. Experience, class, motivation for RVP to stay. Only drawbacks are his price (which is definitely not 10 million) and his injury proneness. I like him though and would rather see him here than at spuds or chelskea.
