Iaquinta content to be at Cesena
Vincenzo Iaquinta thinks he can re-establish himself in the Italian game after leaving Juventus for Cesena.
The 32-year-old has signed for the relegation threatened side after a loan deal was agreed between all parties.
“It’s an ideal place for me to re-launch my career,” the World Cup winner told TMW. “I’m happy and I want to demonstrate something important. I can’t wait to start.”
The former Udinese player hasn’t appeared at all for Juve this term and will now partner Adrian Mutu in attack at the Stadio Manuzzi.
“I say thank you to Juventus, I hold no grudges, and also to the fans who have always treated me like a great player,” he added.
“Mutu is a fine forward, but there is not only him. Cesena are a side with quality.
“I don’t think that I will play tomorrow, but I do believe and hope that I could feature at the weekend. I haven’t played a game since March and I certainly won’t have 90 minutes in me.”
Cesena face Napoli on Wednesday before taking on Catania.
Iaquinta joins Cesena after rejecting a switch to Novara.

I remember him scoring mass number of goals in the past, I have great respect for him, but when he got that long injury.. was never the same again, sadly.
