Pizarro off to City
Pizarro set for City loan
By Football Italia staff
David Pizarro will reportedly fly out to Manchester today to complete a loan move from Roma to City.
The 32-year-old doesn’t feature in the plans of Giallorossi boss Luis Enrique and he’s been linked with a January exit.
Juventus initially showed an interest in the playmaker this month, but they opted against signing him.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini knows the Chilean well having bossed him at Inter during the 2005-06 campaign.

Re: Pizarro off to City
Is this move pointless for all involved or is that just me?

Re: Pizarro off to City
Surprised he's going to City Yes
But not surprised he's leaving,he hasn't featured hardly at all for us this season.
Another loan move just like the Borriello one that doesn't benefit us in the slightest. We're getting shafted here, why are we loaning them ? we need to get rid of them altogether not these BS loans.

Nothing official yet it seems, still a couple of hours to go until the Premier League window closes.

Best wishes to Pek. Hope he gets back to fitness, but I can't see him getting much time in such a packed midfield as Citeh's.
Probably in cup matches I bet.

Re: Pizarro off to City
Tbh without Yaya, they desperately need someone who is going to link the play......
Pizarro is miles better at that than Barry,Milner, and De Jong.
I would'nt think twice about starting him until Yaya gets back if he's fitness holds up.

Re: Pizarro off to City
pizarro's probably the main benefactor of this move
i hope he does extraordinarily well at man city. that way, the world can recognize how truly great of a player he is.
pek's probably the most underrated player in the world since 08. and it's truly a travesty that no one recognizes his name outside of serie A

Re: Pizarro off to City
i'm rooting city for the rest of the season now, as long as they keep david pizarro happy and gives him playing time. i hope he outshines more than any other city player and any other EPL central midfielder
never rooted for an EPL team before, not even liverpool when they bought aquaman
