He is an awesome Free-Kick taker..He has hit thunderbolts while at Inter and Barca too.

Although i think he hasnt scored as much from free kicks as RVP has.RVP is only slightly better than him when it comes to set pieces.

Comparing higuain to RVP is a bit too far. Higuain is young and has time but RVP for sure for me.

But gotta agree with lex here, higuain is way WAY better then dorito. Same with RVP.

FFS there are mexico fans who hate dorito despite him scoring regularly. Shows you he seriously is just a poacher, thats ALL he does.

Ibra to me is better at set pieces but it is close. RVP likes to put lots of power on it, but ibra for me has a way better technique on it. Weird though that I haven't seen too many FK's from RVP lately

Yes, agility is a useful attribute for any footballer, but when you're comparing what many people see as the two best strikers in the world, you need to say something more than "oh this guy is skinnier and more agile" to sway ppl into believing he's the better striker. These guys are too close to be compared with such minor characteristics. I could easily say that Ibra is stronger, but that wouldn't convince people that he's the better striker either. For the record, Ibra isn't exactly slow.

I find both their styles fun to watch, but that should be expected of two players as talented as them.

They both are different like everyone said. RVP is more Agile but Ibra is a monster.

Not a shame in saying Ibra is more complete, but RVP is more of a thinker and has better movement.

I rate RvP higher . His finishing has something about it not only power but also great placement. I also feel RvP has better movement off the ball.

BUT i have to admit i only watched Ibra play a couple of times only

My 2 favorite players in the game. Way too hard for me to answer this.

For me Van Persie wins. Ibra is amazing when he is on form but he is a big game flop.
