Dude, do you see the goals he scores? I'm a Godmez lover, but he wouldn't score half the goals RVP does in the same position. He's not technical since poachers rely on movement and positioning more than on sheer skill. Nevermind Higgs who's in meh form right now.

RVP has honed his finishing, yes, but he is still able to pull of some killer passes. And yes, Ibra is better at orchestrating play.

Well WhoScored tells me that Ibrahimovic has 5 assists not 7, and my point is not to prove that van Persie is the better passer - just that the comparison is not funny like some posters are trying to make it.

Personally I feel one guy has been unfairly been left out of this debate,,,,a person who due to the greed and tunnel vision of his overrated teammate is not yet doing his best but is still playing at a comparable level.

I like both RVP and Ibra though.....personally I prefer Ibra's style, but RVP style is good......at least he's not Ronaldo ffs.

Yeah I read until the end of the sentence I just felt that it was a stupid comment. We're comparing the two best strikers in the world, nitpicking on who can turn more sharply isn't really significant. One could argue that Ibra is bigger and stronger making him more capable to hold off defenders but in the overall scheme of things that isn't significant either. They're the two top strikers in the world with slightly different styles. If you want the most complete striker in the world though, Ibra is your guy.
