Re: La Liga HT Stats Report - Part 1 Teams
Actually the aerial duels vs number of fouls makes sense, we've been whistled for fouls a lot this season after 50/50 header situations. (not even kidding :lucas:)
Also middle of the pitch is where Barca's centre backs usually play :lucas:
(i think )

Re: La Liga HT Stats Report - Part 1 Teams
Atletico Madrid is right up there in terms of statistics competing at the highest level, suggesting that their finishing is letting them down.
In a perfect world they should be much higher on the La Liga ladder.

Yeah, makes sense Zeal. First part, not the second lol
The centerbacks are high up, but not that high lol
They get to the halfway line roughly when the ball reaches the final 1/3

The most intriguing thing for me (from a Madrid perspective) is this

2. Villarreal 27%
3. Betis 26%
The Highest Avg Attempted Shots from the Middle:

Ronaldo alone should put us at no1 for shots attempted from the left

Thing is there was a period when he just wasn't getting any shots at all. It was weird because you could feel his presence but he just couldn't get a sniff. This was a period when Adrian was in a great vein of form so I'm not sure what to make of that.
He's since picked up so maybe it was a wavelength thing.

Re: La Liga HT Stats Report - Part 1 Teams
we score from space zealous.
Well, i liked to see Malaga being the 3rd team to attempt the most dribbles. I bet Eliseu, Cazorla and Isco are massively responsible for that. It's telling of the kind of team Pelle likes
Also, Athletic being the 3rd in offside situations, trying to beat the D line, Bielsa's touch.

I missed that, my not watching Atletico coincided with Falcao's little blip in goals.
Before and after, I been watching and he been scoring.
I still think he will be top scorer in the league after Cristiano and Messi obviously.
Benz could ruin that for me though..or Saldado.

That's what strikes me as odd. Madrid average the highest number of shots. But it seems that they're more or less balanced in distribution between, left, right and middle.
considering how much of our attack came from the left last year this stat is a big eye opener
