Doc, its just the knee jerk reactions, they probably don't blame him, but are a bit mad and butt hurt.
Even when i am mad i say some really stupid stuff that i actually couldn't believe i said latter.
Yesterday since a long time i didn't explode after classico. Yesterday match was just sooo satisfying even though we lost and even the referee fked up badly.

Mags, Colo did not mince his words, he blames Higuain. Xcx is pretty clear in his message, he blames Higuain and Seppuku has not liked him for a while, he blames Higuain. There is no lie in their words, they blame Higgy.

Re: Higuain
Just to be clear, I'm not putting sole blame on Higz for the loss, I'm just saying he should've taken his chances.
The distinction I try to make between this and Ronaldo though, is that there are times when Ronaldo's poor play or lack thereof doesn't just result in squandered chances they result in the entire team's build up and prospective chances for others being prevented. He seems to have moved passed that now.

Re: Higuain
Look at my other posts and at what time the one you quoted was. ( end of first half)
I didn't blame our loss or elimination from the cup on Higuian.
I blamed him for out situation at the time. Which was (2-0) at half time.
We should have had at least to goals.
He was solely to blame the first half for our lack of goals. The team attacked and had chances. But the most apparent chances werent taken advantages of where those of Higuians.
We didn't lose because of him. We played our hearts out.
He's to blame for us not having scored sooner.

Re: Higuain
Why blame Higuain? If anyone, blame Arbeloa for not marking Pedro, blame our whole defence for allowing Dani Alves the space to shoot, blame the referee for not being up to the task.. but why blame the player who hasn't played enough games recently to hit form? I question Mourinho's decision to start Higuaín in such a big game, but my impression of Higuaín hasn't changed.
All in all, I think we played really well, and if not for barca's luck, we would have won. I'm proud of our overall performance.

Yea dude this is going to get us all very far in life.Trolling one of our own players just to make the other look better.
You'd be better of citing the fact that he has the best minute:goal ratio in Europe

I'm just tired of this Higgy>> Benz or Benz>> Higgy conversation. They're both great and they both offer something different. We had our fun with this, it's time to move on and support both of them like we should've been doing from the start.
As I said previously once....this is not Harry Potter... they can both succeed and play well together.

look in truth lets not criticize either, they are both strikers with tons of goals this season, starting to play well along side each other and as lone strikers
just let them do their thing

Nope he actually has a great one, go have a look at his record against Atletico Madrid, Villareal and Valencia.
Also I find it funny how it was Ronaldo who was taking the blame, then Xabi Alonso, the Pepe and Jose and now Higuain.
Real Madrid fans are so fickle
Higuain's got unlucky the only gripe I had was he should of passed it to Xabi as he had a walk in at goal.
But his work rate was amazing and his runs were perfect. Benzema coming on and scoring had more to do with a change in tactics than anything else.
It was a great goal yes but the space afforded to him was due to to the tactic changes by Jose and a little help from some nice skill.
Karim Benzema replaced Higuain and went upfront in a straight swap, but more interestingly Jose Callejon was introduced down the left, with Kaka going off. That meant he could watch Dani Alves’ runs, and Ronaldo could go upfront. Real were now, more or less, 4-4-2, with Benzema and Ronaldo taking it in turns with their movement – one went left, the other went right. One came deep, the other went over the top.
It worked excellently, pulling Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol all over the pitch. Those two had looked nervous all night, but this meant they no longer had a spare man, and Guardiola didn’t take the decision to move Sergio Busquets deeper to form more of a back three / five, which would have been the logical option – Fabregas and Xavi would have played in midfield, and Javier Mascherano could have come from the bench if needed. Busquets, after all, was no longer dealing with a central playmaker.
People need to get a better grasp on tactics and how hard Higuain had to work to get the opportunities he did manage to grab. As I said my only gripe is that he should of passed to Xabi, but I guess that's shows the instinct of a poacher like Higuain, to try and score at all costs.
Let's not forget Higuain is still the most lethal finisher in Europe, not RVP, not Messi, not Ronaldo, not Gomez and not Benzema. Higuain is above all these people in terms of his ability to put the ball in the back of the net.
Sure he didn't score when he probably should have but his game other than that was superb. he worked the CB's into the ground with his diagnal movements and practically killed Puyol in the first hour, the guy was running on fumes when Benzema came on, Pique then struggled to contain both Ronaldo and Benzema on his own, you can see that if you watch the second half again.

Arbs leaving Pedro Alone was stupid.
Why wouldn't it? Messi was so far out when he received the ball.. He dribbled until he was closed down then made the pass... Pedro wasn't in good position early on, if Messi was closed down earlier it would have been difficult for him to make a play.. Maybe Messi would of just dribbled past Pepe and our other defenders and scored, who knows? The point of defending is to make it difficult on players, not let then dribble around the box with little pressure
ColoJunior wrote:There were two clear cut chances guys. First damn minute.
And the next one was when he attempted a shot with his left instead of laying it off to Alonso who was walking right into the box. Oh all within the first 25 minutes I believe.
If you guys can't see those then... well I dont know what.
I missed the first 10 min but I saw the highlights, you're talking about the one where he was one on one right? He could of done better but it wasn't a huge miss IMO, and yeah he could of passed it off on that other play but there wasn't anything wrong with having a go, he just didn't connect well with the ball

Re: Higuain
Well Higuains biggest weakness is putting away 1v1 situations, he should improve this vastly. Timing is the key.
I got the impression from some of the fans here that Im not a Real madrid fan or something? Hope Im wrong here.

Maybe the highlights I saw for the first 10 min didnt show everything then because the misses that I saw were not THAT bad.. Not taking your chances against any team can make things difficult but against Barca we just tend to freeze up regularly which pisses me off..
They're a great team but fck them, we should just throw everything we have at them every game, we have world class players too.. I hope we don't ever park the bus again
Anyways I know who I'm putting the blame on over the two legs.. And it's not Higuain

Re: Higuain
The only top clubs he's played against are Barca, Milan and Liverpool and no way in hell we were going to beat that Liverpool team with the squad we had at the time.
He has scored a few goals against Barcelona and he's scored against Milan.

Re: Higuain
one of higuains best qualities is putting away 1v1, not sure what you are talking about
he got unlucky. what i think happened was he was caught off guard when he got the early chances and never recovered. no excuse though he should have been ready to pounce on that first chance specifically
