i dont get this, we are only going to buy one player today, why the hell should it be a second rate midfielder? because thats the only midfielder you can get at this time in the window especially in jan. what we need ATM is a decent striker to back up rvp that can do the job because we already create enough chances. not as much as we usually do but enough. getting a second rate midfielder wont change that. we need a striker, unless you have faith in park? i dont know because he hasnt been given a chance. and henry is leaving in like a months and a half? so dont mention him plz. rvp is not going to be available for all important games til the end of the season...it would be incredibly naive to think so. a creative mid can wait till the summer were we have a much better chance of getting a real quality one

I use to be worried but the way Rosicky has been playing I am sure we would be ok. I just dont get why everyone rights off RVP for this season, the man is playing great and he is staying away from injuries.

Van Persie will eventually burn out and will have periods where he won't score. There have been times where he's been on the brink of injury this season and has been rested because of it. If we had a decent and proven striker available to back him up this wouldn't be a problem, but Chamakh is not decent and Park is not proven.

The people who keep banging on about lacking creative need to realise that the midfielders we could get this month are no better than what we have. I certainly don't get the clamour around Gourcuff, who's been poor for ages now, nor do I understand the expectation that we can just pluck some great creative midfielder out of nowhere.

I also believe people are completely overreacting to us not signing someone notable (other than Henry) this window when the players that have moved this window were either leaving anyway or just aren't that good. Pappis Cisse is probably the only one I can think of that is an exception.

Usually it's one of or a combination of: availability, transfer fee, wages, desire to move and work permit. And maybe clubs just don't fancy him for whatever reason.

No if we sent this page to wenger he would not bother to even read it. What do we know.

RVP is Superman and will not get tired or injured. Besides if he did we already have the top EPL quality in our backup Chamakh.

Our midfield is also amazing they are racking up assists and helping create goals like no other team in the EPL. That is why our DM is not leading the team in assists.

Our wings are also extreme quality and are helping out. Since them along with RVP and our mids, we are scoring is pretty even across all of them. We are not a one man team.

With all that we still have a very large list of quality backups that all of the other top 4 teams would be envious to have.
