I couldn't believe they eliminated themselves so quickly. I would've at least expected them to score more freely. Their forwards look to be stacked (Ba, Cisse, Sow and Niang). You have to wonder what kind of setup they used, and just how they managed not to score.

Thing is Senegal has 5 forwards of genuine quality but only 3 of them can play at any time......

Which means from Cisse, Sow or Ba, 2 of them are benched.......

It's not like they all play at once, adding to that their midfield and defence is diabolical its not that suprising they struggled.

Quickest player to reach 5 goals for us since Les Ferdinand in the mid 90s.....

What a player worth every single penny and he aint like other poachers either his general play is pretty decent got an assist today aswell.

Funny thing is that Freiburg are actually better now without Cissé. When Cissé left for Newcastle, they were in the 18th place of the BL, even though Cissé was the player who was involved by far in most of the Freiburg goals (21 goals and 13 points then at matchday 17). As of today, Freiburg is 13th in the BL with 35 goals and 28 points (matchday 27).
