you do know he does that against ANY OTHER team right?? and not only Barca..... he sends a long ball to Ronaldo.... its Ramos' job for getting the ball up and Pepes job to stay..... off Fifa 11 man and watch it properly

Re: [Copa Del Rey] Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona
Exactly, he does that against every team, except he hoofs it 90% of the time against Barca. It's one of the reasons why I dislike him as a defender.
Just because Ramos is our ball playing CB it doesn't mean Pepe has to constantly hoof it. All he has to do is play it short. I'm not expecting him to dribble past every player and give Ronaldo a tap in opportunity.
Also it has nothing to do with FIFA.

There's a big difference in playing weak La liga/CL teams and Barca. So in order to get experience vs Barca he needs to play against them.

The only game worth watching in the La Liga IMO.

Not true at all. There have been some great games in La Liga this season.
You need to tune in more.

That is so..............don't even know the word for it.
The kid needs experience FULL STOP. Could careless about who he plays against to get it as long as he gets it.

Experience in what? Was Wilshere too inexperienced to play against Barca?izzy26 wrote:mtfootball wrote:Which other team will give Varane the experience needed in order to play against Barca?izzy26 wrote:mtfootball wrote:There's a big difference in playing weak La liga/CL teams and Barca. Re: [Copa Del Rey] Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona
So Varane is totally useless since he hasn't played 100 games? Besides, I'd prefer if we risked someone talented instead of playing someone who sucks with experience.izzy26 wrote:mtfootball wrote:Experience in what? Now where did I say he was useless?
Is it wrong that I would like the kid to start more low-profile games to gain experience? He doesn't need to be rushed in.
FFS what the *bleep* do you *bleep* Madrid fans want? You want everything *bleep* possible and STILL aren't happy. Jesus! You guys just want more issues to complain about.
He's 19! 19!

Re: [Copa Del Rey] Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona
19 year old Varane will pull a Camacho all over Messi's Cruyff. Heard it here first.
Its Copa del Rey.
Anyway, like I said before, without Arbeloa, Pepe, Khedira and Di Maria, and in the relatively bad form we are in, we dont have much of a chance. But we must still fight on.

Re: [Copa Del Rey] Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona
Omg, so many milestones for Barca in this game, I feel more confident now. Bday, 300 game, and the game to swing the win loss balance record our way We will win this, at least the players will be very fired up for it, which we need to too especially we have lacked a bit last few games. That said I hope Real wont surprise us and we wont be overconfident
Its likely that it will be another game that is closely contested, but we will come out on top. I would like for a big win, but dont wanna ask too much
