They had 3 semifinalists in the europa league, it's hardly surprising they're so high up.

Never rated the UEFA Coefficients. Europa League and Champions League give the same points. It's so stupid.

EPL = 2 horse race. Ever since 2004 only Chelsea and Manchester United have won it.
La Liga = 2 horse race ever 2004. But atleast it's the 2 best teams in the world.
When it's Spanish teams vs English teams head to head, Spanish teams have won the most.
10 teams in La Liga have qualified for CL since 2004.
8 teams in EPL have qualified for CL since 2004.
La Liga > Serie A > Bundesliga >>>>>>>>>>> EPL
