QSI buying the Stade de France

Qatar Sports Investment which bought PSG last year, is trying to become majority owner of the privately owned Stade the France.

PSG was supposed to temporarily move to the Stade de France while their old stadium would undergo negotiations. It was suggested that QSI would try to buy out the stadium and maybe even rebuild a new one, but it seems like buying the SDF is a faster solution.

For reminder, it's the official stadium of the French National Team. It can hold 80000 people, 5th biggest in Europe, it's also an olympic stadium with modular stands, a rooftop, giant screens everywhere. They hosted a WC final there, prestigious concerts, IAAF events and etc... truly prestigious place.

Stade de France director denied the rumors.

But if it happens, PSG fans are going to be pissed to go in this awfully cold stadium.
