Kaka is one of the faces of Adidas, even if he's been epic fail on the pitch his signing wasn't a complete waste.

Ribery for 80 million is not a better deal by any stretch of the imagination.

I think the 80 million value was because Rummenigge/Hoeness came out "we won't sell Ribéry even with a 80m bid coming in", or something to that effect.

On the other hand, one never knows for sure what is negotiated behind closed doors, so one can't be 100% sure in either direction. ^^

Either Madrid Bid 80million for Ribery or not, or Ribery couldn't hand out donuts for free. All I know is that there was a bid and it was rejected..
