Hulk to Chelsea?

Hulk hungry to work with AVB
FC Porto striker Hulk would welcome the chance to team up with his former boss Andre Villas-Boas at Chelsea, according to the player's agent.
The 25-year-old powerhouse recently admitted that he could be tempted by a move to West London, despite an astronomical buy-out clause of £87.5million, a world record fee, which has put many top clubs off, despite reported interest from Tottenham and Inter Milan.
The Brazilian thrived under Villas-Boas during the manager's spell at the Estadio do Dragao, scoring an impressive 36 goals in 53 games last season in helping the club claim the League and Cup double as well as winning the Europa League.
And agent Theodoro Fonseca admitted to A Bola: "In all transfer windows there are polls and contacts with several clubs.
"Andre Villas-Boas knows him very well and they have a very good relationship. Hulk loves Andre and he would love to work with him at Chelsea or with any other team because he likes the way he coaches.
"In football everything is possible, but his buy-out clause is very expensive, so his future will depend on the agreement between the two clubs.
"However, Hulk is doing very well at Porto and he has a very good relationship with the club."

And yeah, release clause is ridiculous. He will go for around 40M like Falcao imo, nothing more than 50M.

Very nice in theory, but not likely going to happen.
First of all, doubt Porto will sell in Jan.
Second, that price is tremendous.
Thirdly, he plays the same position as Sturridge who by his play style is really suited to that rightsided role for AVB. I know he was a 9 and he wants to play there, but I dont see why and I think AVB prefers him where he is.

87.50 million is nothing to Chelsea. I am sure they will easily offer 90mill.

Chelsea should move for a CF as a permanent replacement for Drogba and since the manager is showing no confidence in Torres.
Sturridge has been doing well out wide so why move him to a central role.Also this is his first big break at Chelsea and is growing in confidence playing outwide so i dont think too much tinkering in regards to Sturridge's role.
I think all they are lacking is a lethal striker upfront tbh,someone who can guarantee you 20+ goals a season and i think if Higuain reports are true it would be a great buy.

I don't know how people consider Higuain a buying option. he won't leave RM, let's not fool yourself.

well it is as improbable as Hulk's move to Chelsea especially with that enormous buyout clause so i just thought i'd share an idea.

There is no way he is worth anything close to what they say. Max 40 million and I don't really rate him that high. I know you are Brazilian and you should rate him high, but me I just don't see it.
