Pretty simple thread really,what are your favorite badges and why.Feel free to post which ones you think are ugly too.

I noticed a lot of the Italian badges are nice,while a lot of the German ones are very plain and boring.

Here are my favorites:

Zenit,clubs from the former Soviet Bloc have the advantage here as their badges use Cyrillic script which looks cool,but it looks cool in a classical way.The cool blue and white compliments the imagery of the badge perfectly.



FC Basel,grand is the word I would use to describe this crest,very classy design with rich colors to compliment it.:



PSG,it's just so iconic because of the outline of the Eiffel Tower but the choice of colors make this badge, the deep colors strike out at you,they are not flashy colors but they give the badge a certain melancholic feel.Powerful.:



Ajax,Classical:



S.S. Lazio,This one is my favorite,the unorthodox use of gold and pale blue contrast with each other but somehow it just works,it really is the colors that makes this badge special.The eagle design is much more detailed than the crest below but importantly it isn't overbearing,by that I mean it doesn't overshadow the crest.It's a very sharp design yet still maintains it's historic appearance.




I love the way the badge doesn't "*bleep*" the shirt,yet it still is quite a sophisticated badge:

Intricate, chaotic and hypnotic.

I really adore FC Valencia's. You can't go wrong with a bat:

Bayer 04 Leverkusen is a football club that was originally founded in 1904 by the workers of the Bayer AG (a huge German chemical and pharmaceutical company) who invented Aspirin, so the comment was not so far off the mark XD

(And that's why people need to discern between "Bayer" (company) and "Bayern" (German for "Bavaria"))

When I was a kid collecting football stickers my favourite badges were Southampton & Nottingham Forest

Valencia,Romas and Olympiakos are all great too.They would definitely be up their on my list.

It's the badge of Klubi Sportiv Lushnja,an Albanian club.

Some other classic ones:

Old Derby County badge,love this badge,the use of Gold and white makes it look very classy and the Ram design is marvelous.The new badge with a circle around it isn't as good.
