Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
Roberto Baggio has cooled speculation that he and former Brescia teammate Pep Guardiola could team up together at Inter in the future.
It is being suggested that Inter chief Massimo Moratti could revolutionize things at San Siro if the Nerazzurri’s season ends badly.
Amongst the suggestions are the acquisition of Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola and some sort of role at the club for the Italian legend.
“I don’t know,” Baggio, who spent two years at Inter before his 2000 move to Brescia, commented. “Pep has so much experience that he doesn’t really need anyone alongside him.
“Guardiola has some marvelous collaborators and so it is therefore unlikely that such a hypothesis is possible.
“However, we all know that life is so unpredictable that sometimes anything can occur…”
The Spanish tactician spent two spells at the Stadio Rigamonti towards the end of his playing career.
Current Inter boss Claudio Ranieri, who replaced Gian Piero Gasperini in September, is contracted to the club until June 2013.
maybe moratti actually has a future plan?!?

i guess regarding the spending policy applied this year, and when the board assures that there will be no big signings despite the club's form, there might be some sort of plan for the year to come

Re: Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
The guardiola speculations have been going on for years now and it seems like Moratti is really serious about him. If you noticed all the contracts of all post mourinho coaches, excepted renieri, would've been expired at the same time guardiola's contract expires at Barca. Coincidence ? i dont think so

Re: Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
when i saw mourinho's face after the classico, i remembered when he was unbeaten at home, and i remembered how inter made him always proud at sansiro, so i felt maybe when he gets the spanish leaugue he might get back but i know its just a dream

Re: Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
Inter has a plan? I swear to me it looks like Moratti acts on impulse.
Branca the same. Our mercato is proof of that. While other teams buy for specific positions they need to reinforce we buy for the sake of buying without knowing wth we're buying. Alvarez was thought to be a winger? Forlan not eligible for CL? Jonathan when we have 4 players that could play as RB's?
Any coach that comes to Inter will be in a shock. He won't get the backing of the club and as soon things start to go badly he will get sacked. Inter is not the club for Pep to continue his winning ways.
He needs a club that will give him all the necessary support including opening its wallets for big purchases. We are not that club anymore, sadly.

Re: Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
i think if we were to get pep, moratti would ok quite a few signings. maybe not 30m signings but surely a few good, young players. bc he'd have to completed rewire the squad to get them playing his style. probably a few barcelona youngsters as well

Re: Guardiola-Baggio at inter?
A few youngsters wouldn't be able to play his football unless they are of high quality and already accustomed to possession football.
A midfield with Alvarez Poli Obi wouldn't cut it, like Romas Viviani and Greco are being run rugged atm,
For Example:
Oscar Banega Guarin
And i honestly don't believe Moratti would care this much about the Fair play if he intended to spend that much cash in one season.

If Moratti makes it happen, meaning Guardiola to be Inters new coach, then I will totally support the club.
