Lass, Coentrao (who played in like 3 different positions tonight), Marcelo, Pepe and Khedira all had a very good game.

i thought Pepe was MOTM, for keeping the opposition out for most of the time

pepe was reckless sometimes,some bad reading of the game here and there too.I thought ramos was better than him.CR7 clearly MOTM for me,then dimaria,Ramos,Marcelo,pepe,coentrao in that order.

Higgy disappointed.

i expected higgy to be a ghost most of the game, i honestly thought benz was going to start.

higgy needs more support offensively and better service, he doesnt start deep like benz does.

who blames higgy when our midfield was khedira--lass

i thought everyone was about a 7, no stand outs. but i commend coentrao for his performance as RB

A lot of anti talk re midfield today, but they did job. Face it Mou's ranking of Midfielders is
1. Alonso
2. Khedira
3. Lass
4. Coentrao
5. Sahin
6. Granero
7. Altintop

Sahin will get his opportunity to move up (to probably no. 3) with upcoming Ajax and copa games. I don't like this out of favor with Granero, but it is a reality and he likely will go to get more playing time within la liga next summer. We frankly have too many MFs and I don't understand why we bought Altintop. I suspect it was because he is versatile, good work rate and was available and that the decision was made prior to knowing Lass would stay and Coentrao would come.

Good game, not amazing, but solid. I personallly think Sahin should have played, but whatever. Next stop... CLASICO!

Lass played well, Higgy and Benz disappoint me, Di maria and Cr7 impressed me, pepe needs to be more careful and dunno about u guys but im not convinced of coentrao at rb. at all. though it was his first try, first impression means alot and that impression im left with makes me think rather try carjaval than coentrao.

I agree Turok. Coentrao is very one footed.

I hate it, It really hurts to watch him rot away

I personally not a fan of having midfielders that dont know how to control the tempo from deep, so whenever i see any of Lass or Khedira in the middle, i irk a little. Imagine what i feel when i see both.

They are doing their job, and that's what count i guess, but that's my personal taste.
