Re: Luiz Suarez
Liverpool won't let him go for anything unless a CRAZY offer arrives. They probably value him at around 45-50M.

If Torres went for 50
and Caroll for 35
Luis opening offer should be 60m

I agree with TNB, that's more like it.The Nature Boy wrote:ExtremistEnigma wrote:Suarez is easily in the top 10 strikers of the world at this very moment. And about not being consistent.. he was very consistent except last season where KK's tactics were horrendous.

Pretty easy considering his talent and if he were up from sale Chelsea "One 30mill+ signing every window to stay close to the Title challengers" FC will come in.

Re: Luiz Suarez
Suarez's impact in big games is substantial... I remember at Ajax, he always played well against the likes of PSV/Herenveen/AZ/Feyenoord... and now, he always shows up against the big English teams...

Re: Luiz Suarez
That's a pretty clear hit to the face, Sepi and it's a red card offense full stop. He's lucky the referee didn't see it.

Re: Luiz Suarez
People talking about statistics in terms of how well a player is playing again. Kill me now.
As for the punch. It's a red, and it's dirty, and it's Suarez. It's nothing new.
I like Suarez. However, he seems quite intent on trying to convince me not to like him with his on field behavior. That's inexcusable, like many other instances of his.

Re: Luiz Suarez
It's hard to get why Suarez never learns to control his temper on the pitch. That punch is not even about acting stupidly in a quick situation nor about his desire to win, that is just utterly shameful to do on a football pitch.
The only positive about it is that he didn't do it in a Liverpool shirt, it would be in every media by now and gotten a ban, too.

Re: Luiz Suarez
I would be mad if a guy is holding me like that and we are losing the game, But would either notify the ref or wiggle out of it by pushing him or something. I can understand the frustration but no need to throw punches. Should have got a red for that but its understandable that the ref didn't see the punch, He didn't even see the holding.

Re: Luiz Suarez
Yeh that was a punch. He got frustrated with the player holding him, however at the end of the day he reacted the wrong way.
Apparently he's going to face disciplinary action for it.
