Gomez is god!

Best 9 in the world at the moment!

His job isn't to help build up play, it's to score goals, he does that well. i'd take Klose over him in the national team anyday though.

Klose does fit the system and players they have at national team better yes...

But Gomez can still manage to adjust and improve his skills in the next years to come, like he did at bayern

look at the Game "Germany vs Uruguay", he was a beast there

He recognize his players doesnt feed him with much balls as they did at Bayern and managed to create something on his own

He is just clinical striker not SS !

TBH Gomez' work rate is improving each and every day, I think he'll be fit for the NT in a season or two. He already wins back the ball more than most strikers do. Sure, he doesn't reach Klose-like work rates yet, but honestly, who does?

Irrelevant. Gomez is much faster and stronger than Klose, able to drag away 2 or 3 players away from their positions by just being there. This leaves space for Mueller and Podolski/Schurrle who as strikers can and do score. While he may not have the workrate (not yet) of Klose or the passing ability, he has his size and sexyness to drag defenders out of their positions. Also, he can like, finish. Which is a tiny bit important for a lone striker.

If you are judging Germany's performances from their last few games, then don't, because if you noticed Loew went nuts and moved around a lot of players. Hell, even the mostly not capped ones got a chance. No consistency in there. Plus Piggy and Khedira were missing who pretty much are the Core of Germany.

So, your problem is as clear as runny diarrhea.

You didn't grasp the problem. The problem isn't Gomez, lack of width is the problem

I don't agree about the lack of width though. Müller is very quick, both him and Podolski interchange position with Özil quite often, who is also very fast, this gives the pacey element to ze German attack. Lahm goes forward, but so does the LB if it isn't Badstuber - Aogo, for example, goes forward a lot.
As does Schmelzer.

Then there's the fact that both Khedira and Schweinsteiger push towards the box, so we don't just have width, we totally overcrowd the box anyway, we don't really need our CF to have great passing ability, we need him to win back possession and backtrack. Gomez does that already.

If we need more pace, we can just put Schürrle on the wing.

You don't need width for the type of football Germany plays, anyways. You need solidity down the middle for counter attacking football. As Viva said, most German players are fast, so it makes up for it even if they're not natural "wingers".

Ozil>>Schurrle+Podolski>>Muller. Even Klose>Muller in speed Wingers cross low as well, ever heard of it?
Lack in change of positions is very important because Ozil will become 50% less effective if he can't drop back and forth. he is very easy to mark them and the other guys Podolski/Muller aren't as strong in one on ones as Ozil.
That's what I mean with stagnation in attack
By the way, Klose is as fast or faster than Godmez...
