Manuel Neuer was clearly touched by this and responded:"First of all, thanks for the shirt. Gigi is a great goalkeeper, the number one. He [Gigi] said some beautiful words about me. After this, I'd gladly meet you in the final. But I have to win!"

This comes a day after I post a reply to TMO in the Real Madrid section saying Gianluigi Buffon and Manuel Neuer and better friends than Gianluigi Buffon and Iker Casillas [which TMO claimed, albeit jokingly].

This makes me wonder if I am gifted.

Though admittedly, Gianluigi Buffon's forte does not include saving penalties, albeit he has made some pretty big saves like v. Real Madrid in 2003, and v. Adrian Mutu in 2008.

I'm sorry but Figo's penalty in 2003 was pathetic. Buffon should get no credit for saving that
