Question for Barca fans...

If Ronaldinho was still in his prime, still in his mid 20s, etc (but was still sold a few years back), would you take him back? The catch is, if you get Dinho back, you lose Messi. What would you do? Same thing goes for Deco, in place of Xavi...what would you do there?

Personally, if I was a barca fan I would take Ronnie back, but not Deco. The problem is Ronnies partying and irresponsibility, but still, its RONALDINHO in his prime.

Messi is better than Ronaldinho and hes not even at his peak yet, the kid is 23 years old, he has 10 years of top flight football ahead of him. Ronaldinho was an incredible player but Messi is already being and has been compared to the likes of Maradona and Pele at 23 years old ffs.

I still don't think Messi will reach or pass Maradona's level, but that's just me

Ronnie shat all over the chances given to him, in his peak years. I don't know why anyone would change him for consistant, completely football-focused Messi.

Messi is NOT better than Ronaldinho in his prime. No way in hell, and is not even comparable to maradona pele, etc in my opinion.

Because im asking if you would take ronaldinho back, whose better imo, but have to dealwith his irresponsibility, might not have him as long, etc.

No way. The only think Ronaldinho has over Messi is his confident smile.

Well this team has reached its peak ever since the 2008/09 season, and since then we have stayed as one of, if not the best team so I really wouldn't change anything. Keep Messi, and Xavi, but FULL respect to R10 and Deco when they were in their prime. They captivated the football world like none other, and they were a great team, but ATM we are a better team than we were back then. Plus Messi is Messi.

Ronaldinho was one of the reason i became a Barca fan in 2003/2004!

I loved Barca more becuz of him..but Messi is another story..

Overall Messi is better imo, Messi didn't reach his peak yet too..

- Ronaldinho was more of show man.. his tricks were a reason why alot of people like to watch him& watch Barca.. i remeber when i was like 12->15 i spent hours everyday watching Ronaldinho's vids & trying to make some of his tricks


if we want to compare both :
1- Messi is better finisher
2- Messi is a better dribbler.. the only Goal that Ronaldinho scored by dribbling 3 players was against Real Madrid 2005/2006 ( 3-0 in Berbabeu) which was great.. but Messi does this in every match & every time he has the ball..
3- Playmaking: for now Ronaldinho is better, but Messi is very gd also..
4-Ronaldinho was a party man..which is the opposite to Messi.. Messi just focuses on football!
etc..

I would prefer to have Ronaldinho @ his peak + Messi this would be a better idea

Anyway, as I've said before, Ronaldinho can do things that Messi cannot dream to do. Dinho's arsenal of tricks is like 1000000x the size of Messi's. But Messi is more consistent and effective than Dinho.

Nobody in the history of football could do the things Dinho did in his peak.
