Point is, once they come up against competent opposition, they crumble

Spurs 2-1 Arsenal
Unless you don't count Arsenal as one of the big boys?
When United and City played them, the team was a shambles and Modric had his head turned. Since then, they played 10, won 9 and have drawn 1- away to Newcastle. That is title winning form.

Re: Spuds
There was one passage of the game, where they put together around 35 passes, to finally send Parker through in the box. Juusi saved it, but had it gone it, it would have been team-goal goal of the season candidate

Re: Spuds
They were leading already before cahils sending off so it doesnt matter..also one game in hand too.

Re: Spuds
Spurs are really good this year. They have a whole new spine in the team. Friedel, Parker, and Ade so comparing them to years past just doesn't hold much water.
There keeper last year was personally responsible for losing about 6-9 points just with stupid mistakes.
I would love to see this team in the CL as I think they could do some real damage especially with there speed down the flanks.

Tottenham
Do you think Tottenham can win the EPL or at least end up in top 4, they playing some beautiful football and have a very good team.
I am starting to feel they might end up in 2nd or 3rd position.
what you guys think...?

Re: Spuds
They're doing well, but it's Spurs so you never know.
It's like predicting Atletico Madrid's final standing. Good teams, big money but total lack of balls in key moments.

Re: Spuds
I already predicted them finishing second behind City. Two of the former big 4 will have to settle without CL next season i'm afraid

Re: Spuds
They're on a temporary run of form. They'll start slipping down a bit before Christmas. Don't think they'll finish in the top 4 four, let alone top 2.
They don't have the quality or the depth to sustain this for much longer, and they still have most of the big teams to play.

i bet they finish in the top 4, or just outside it.
i bet they can even pull some shockers and finish 2nd or 3rd.
