They both are great and rotation is OK although I'd like to see Higuain against Lyon just to see if he will be able to go ketchup bottle-mode against them.

varane is horrible at rb.

Played one game in that position during preseason if i remember correctly.

Ramos doesnt need rest but arbeloa needs so Ramos-Pepe-Varane-Marcelo

That's why he wouldn't play there but CB and Ramos at RB... Varane is learning RB right now and needs a few games with lesser opponents/less pressure to get his feet wet. No reason he can't do it.

Nah... defensively, this is too big of a game to put Benz at AM. Completely different responsibilities there. It will be the usual except for Ozil instead of Kaka and Benz at CF.

Mou has a formula and he's going to stick to it until there's a reason to change.

I personally feel that, if Kaka is healthy, put Ozil on the wing instead of Di Maria. Need to rebuild Ozil's confidence and Di Maria should be rotated as well given how much energy he burns out there.

Of course, there's my dream Benz-Higuain pairing... but with Mou, it will only happen if we need to score the goal in the 2nd half (either Benz or Higuain is subbed in for Di Maria).

I like how Di Maria plays now though. I like that he drops deep sometimes to help the midfield now and then can shift to wingplay aswell. He will also only improve from there. He needs to stop his diving ASAP though.

Well dropping Di Maria means sacrificing width [the right wing] so I'm not too sure its good for us. He's also have re-grown half a brain and is back in form

Honestly as much as I would like to see Benz and Higgy together it means dropping Ozil and being without a real playmaker. I don't think it'll look good at all so Ozil will start. I expect him to have a good game and hopefully with internationals coming up he can get some rest

Mourinho is clever and that's why he will make Benzema play against us and not Higuain.

For our part, we are going to get diminished, Lisandro is out again, Bastos is out, Grenier too, Cissokho will probably be out. 3 starters and a possible starter out, I don't knwo what team we will be able to put in.

The only good news compared to last match between us is that Gonalons will be back so Fofana won't appear on the pitch. For the moment he has been a very bad pick, he just does not have the level. I hope we buy a true DM back up in the winter. Cris is back to, he has champions league experience unlike Kone.

Surprisingly Briand was our main goalscorer the past few match.

The players promised us a much better performance this time, but I just fear there is just not enough talent on the field. Without Lisandro and Bastos, more than half our attack is gone.

I do think we will fight this time with the help of the crowd and the home advantage but I don't think we will win. Real is also less good away than in Bernabeu.

Gomis has been missing left and right recently, I hope he fix that immediately.

With Dabo and Cris... it's going to be tough. Cris may have experience; but he's way too slow to play against Madrid now.

How Lyon shows will depend on Lyon's midfield. That defensive lineup cannot hold up at all to constant pressure.

Cris has been quite good the last two derbys even against the fast Aubameyang. Koné has been LOL last match against Madrid. I hope Lloris will do his usual this time.

For Dabo, I just hope he get a brain and does NOT do a crazy tackle again. I really hope Cissokho will play but this seems unlikely.
