me when I first conquered blighttown: nothing can be as tough as this in the game..so that's a positive

me after first fighting O&S: wow I'm doing no damage but can't be as bad as blightown, I'll beat them soon

had 0 humanity so I couldn't summon at all

was using the drake sword and I had to go all the way back through Sen's and get a better weapon and then come back

came very close to quitting the game for good

by far the hardest boss fight in the series for me..purely because I sucked

actually that's a lie..I think the first time I fought O&S I did ZERO damage..Ornstein speared me from across the room and 1 shot me rofl

I actually thought the game was cheating and it was so unfair to be 2 v 1..funny looking back when I beat them in like 60 seconds in later runs

I remember watching so many montage videos back in the day of people getting stuck there..it was the first big test. Seen people take 100+ attempts. I think it took me probably 30-60

Can't even imagine man. If I faced them without having any prior experience I would never touch the game again Laughing

I went in to scout since i had like 1 estus left. Lasted 5 seconds maybe 3 before being ruined into oblivion.

This might take a while.

I ditched drake sword for baldur side sword a while ago and it's been great so far.

Baldur Side Sword looks pretty bland but it's actually a great weapon and one of the strongest for PvP, I used it for a while. Cool moveset, back in the day ppl named it baldr swag sword Proud

. You got lucky getting it to drop btw, most people have to farm for it since it's a random drop around Sen's IIRC. Took me a good hour to get it.

smough is a piece of cake. can down him with 10 combustion spells. Ornstein is impossible

yeah..you want to be fighting super smough instead of super ornstein who is ridiculous, so just try to do Ornstein in first

Smough is definitely easy, just gotta be patient and use the columns to slow Smough down

I don't remember if it was that way or the other way around but yeah

you find his armor set in Dark Souls 3 in that area too, one of the coolest armor sets in the series

Yea i rocked that armour for a long time in PVP. great weight and stats.

Also just beat them on my 6th try ffs. It was surprisingly easy. Did Ornstein first and then smough was a piece of cake other than his fat ass move.

lol, you're about to venture into the worst area in the series..and not in terms of difficulty, it's half finished..you can tell they were pressed for time and ran out of budget lol. It's an utter mess soon.
