Bournemouth are woeful. Watched the game till Liverpool scored the 2nd goal expecting a challenge beforehand, expecting Liverpool to have to sweat it out for 90 mins+( seeing that these lot are 1st in the Championship). What I saw was a team that would make Burnley, Qpr look like world beaters.

It was a championship side that bottled it on the night. Context is needed bruh.

Do the same against Arsenal and get a result and I'll give Liverpool credit, however begrudgingly it may be Thumbs up

Championship side bottling it Laughing Right it had nothing to do with us.

They actually played decent. This is what happens when a 2nd division team meets a top 5 PL team. The Championship side looks like shit.

Only reason I said 'bottling' is because apparently they're flying in the championship, blitzing teams, especially at home. Points tally may not tell the story, but they've been consistent and were coming into this game in confidence. Signs tell me nerves got the better of them.

Liverpool on the other hand, coming into this game, looked in dissaray, poor form, experimenting with formation and players playing out of position like last weekend.

But you'd never have noticed that watching it. It was far too easy for you.

Weighing up both these things leads me to lean towards Bournemouth bottling it....and then Liverpool showing their quality to take advantage.

Top 5 PL team? Not currently.

I think someone should tell you what the difference between 1st and 2nd division football is. No matter how much flying a team in 2nd division can be doing and no matter how shit a team in the top divison is, there is still a massive gulf in quality.

There are obvious exception like MK Dons raping a top 5 PL team obviously :coffee:

Not very interesting ones, though.

Bury v Leicester?
Hartlepool v Bournemouth?
Preston v Watford?
Rotherham v Norwich?

Man, it feels weird typing these clubs out as the Premier League clubs who are possibly facing tricky cup matches...

Aston Villa 1 - 1 Notts County
Palace 1 - 1 Shrewsbury
Luton 0 - 0 Stoke
Preston 1 - 0 Watford
Sunderland 3 - 3 Exeter

Some upsets on the cards tonight hmm

Meanwhile Leicester are winning 2-0 and Bournemouth are winning 3-0. Doing the PL proud.

Apparently Thauvin has been outstanding, should have more than a goal and assist.

Only League 1 opposition but still, hopefully he starts at the weekend and not that scrub lightbulb impersonator.
