Pepe should be only given defencive duties nothing more. LB might be his best position afterall.

Honestly, I think this midfield would be ok for Pepe;

Marchisio-Pirlo-Pepe

Assuming Vidal is unavailable, Pepe can provide defensive cover for Pirlo and occasionally help in attack
The only thing I know is that in a 4-2-4, Pepe isn't doing the job offensively

I somehow agree, but I guess he should havebeen tried earlier, too late in those coming fixtures. Those games can be decided by a single mistake let it be player mistake or a tactical one

Giacch has been Juventus' best winger

He actually shows effort, can dribble and cross
We need to see more minutes from Esti/Elia and Krasic for that matter

Sorry but I got to disagree with you here Luca, now don't get me wrong. I hate Pepe with all my guts, but Pepe has been better than Giach. However, it does not conclude that Pepe is our best winger. Neither of them are, time for Krasic and Elia, thats all Im going to say. At this point, both Giac and Pepe have not impressed yes including Krasic, but Krasic deserves more playing time..

I'm talking strictly about the wings, if we are talking overall then no question even though Pepe has had the luxury of being the untouchable and getting so many minutes.

Giacch has delivered better crosses and made space for himself much better than Pepe has

All Giach has done, was one link up play with Vucinic and Matri against Siena. All credit to Vucinic on that play.

And against Milan... a failed cross, that manages to get on Marchisio foot to score the goal.

Against Milan that was a good cross, Vidal overran the ball if he held his run just a little he would have made better contact.

I still prefer Giaccherini's impact as a winger in a 4-2-4 than Pepe in the same role, call me old fashioned, I like wingers who can dribble past a defender and cross the ball into the right area.
