Re: Samuel Eto'o vs David Villa
Both the most consistent strikers in the last decade with RVN in top flight. I would go with Eto'o though. Villa had better finishing, but Eto'o has succeeded everywhere he has been. They are both even inmho, but I prefer Eto'o because he gives more energy to the attacking line. In terms of ability, they are about even. Eto'o has performed for better teams, so that goes in his favour, or maybe not, the fact that Villa's level of consistency was kept depsite playing for supposedly, go in his favour. Ultimately, it comes down to preference.

I agree with your reasoning. For the consistent strikers, there are Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic though, not just them.

Those two are included. RVN is still king though... :king:
Ironically, they all underperformed for Barca except for Eto'o, but those where for different reasons. Villa isn't underperforming per se, but his finishing was poor by his previous standards.

I think a decade is not a fine time indicator for ranking players, five years is the best time span for that. Back then, Villa Eto'o and Ibra were not more consistently awesome than Sheva, Vieri, Pippo, Raul, and Trez.
