Zealous is right. Coentrao can be a good defender that's all. Marcelo gives us something else in attack.

Maybe I should make my point clearer, some posts before mine suggested that Mourinho had some deep hatred for Marcelo etc. I was making two points, one is that Mourinho isn't to blame for everything that goes wrong at Real Madrid, and to emphasize the point that Marcelo is actually a favourite of Mourinho.

i would play coentrao in some matches even if marcelo is in full shape, we need a disciplined backline.

Today is officially a day off but Marcelo, Higuain, Pepe, Callejon, Diego Lopez and Jesus trained on the field today and Jose even came to supervise with the rest of his staff.

Honestly I'm not surprised these guys are working through vacation days. I really love their work ethic.

That would totally put manchester defense under attack. we would have few goals on them for the return leg where i would play coentrao instead.

Same reason i want us to sign Abate and Carvajal both in the summer.

Marcelo might be overweight but I'm 100% sure it's not fat that he gained. He looks bigger but that maybe because he's hit the gym hard when he was injured.

Muscles can still slow you down though.
