Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Moreno and Manquillo both played for Spain u21s against Serbia today. The match ended in a draw.
Moreno was excellent when he was bombing forward, came up short here and there in defence, but overall he was good.
Manquillo didn't make much noise going forward, but he was good defensively and didn't make any mistakes.
It's a shame Suso didn't get into the squad too, but there are too many great offensive players in Spain's youth team right now and Suso wasn't getting regular game time. The likes of Isco, Munian, Morata, Oliver Torres, Deulofeu, El Haddadi got in ahead of him so it's not that bad.
Markovic is expected to start tomorrow.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
No rest for Sterling it seems. Rodgers will have to be willing to rest him for LFC because The Hodge has made it clear he doesn't care about risking player health/fitness on international duty.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Seeing on Livescore that Markovic started Serbia's game but came off already on the 26th minute. Don't know anything else but I suppose that's got to be an injury.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Yes he got injured in the first 20 mins.
It didn't look very serious though, he should be fine.

Means we'll overplay Raheem some more
Injuries have really really been shit to us this season. And funnily enough most of them coming at internationals

Belgium: Mignolet highly unlikely to feature, Benteke will definitely miss the Bosnia game but may feature against Cyprus. Origi is also in the squad.
Brazil: Firmino and Coutinho included in the squad to face Costa Rica and USA. That 10,700 km round trip .
Croatia: Azerbaijan and Norway must be shitting in their pants, Lovren is coming.
England: Do you really need players like Clyne and Milner to face a team like San Marino??? Oh well, it’s Hodgson after all. They will face Switzerland as well.
England U21: Joe and Ibe included in the squad that will play a friendly against USA and Euro qualifier against Norway.
England U19: Rossiter and Ojo (on loan at Wolves) have been called up to face Germany and Croatia in friendlies this month.
Germany: Emre has been included in the German squad that will face Poland (at his home town Frankfurt) and Scotland.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Injuries and omissions mean only a relatively small Liverpool contingent will be on international duty over the next week.
Indeed, the only player who could be involved in a senior competitive encounter is Adam Bogdan.
The goalkeeper is part of the Hungary squad for his country’s two-legged Euro 2016 qualifying play-off against Norway.
Otherwise, Liverpool players are involved in friendly affairs.
Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana are in the England squad for their forthcoming matches against Spain and France, while Emre Can has been included in the Germany squad for heavyweight encounters against France and bitter rivals Holland.
The Netherlands are also the opposition for Wales duo Joe Allen and goalkeeper Danny Ward, currently on loan at Aberdeen.
Martin Skrtel, whose Slovakia side have already qualified for Euro 2016, will represent his country in their friendlies against Switzerland and Iceland.
Belgium duo Simon Mignolet and Christian Benteke are in the party for the friendlies against Italy and Spain, but Divock Origi has dropped down to his country’s under-21 side for their European qualifier against Czech Republic.
A clutch of other Reds youngsters are in U21 action.
Harry Wilson, on loan at Crewe Alexandra, will hope to feature for Wales in their qualifiers against Armenia and Romania.
Ryan Fulton is with Scotland for their qualifier against Ukraine, while Ryan McLaughlin, on loan at Aberdeen, will feature for Northern Ireland against France and Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Cameron Brannagan and Ryan Kent – currently at Coventry City – are in the England U20 squad for their double header against France.
Sheyi Ojo, on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, is in the England U19 squad for the games against Holland and Japan.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Shako, Emre, Allen, Milner, Henderson, Lallana, Firmino, Coutinho, Benteke and Origi are likely to feature in the international friendlies. Feeling a bit nervous as host of our first-team players are involved and we have a critical period immediately afterwards.

Re: Liverpool's international watch thread.
Coutinho and Firmino scored and enjoyed their match for Brazil.
Henderson is single handedly bossing the England game, Sturridge scored.
Delighted with our starters doing well.
