  Suarez grabs a goal against Poland and a fabulous assist to Cavani.

Captain Fantastic also grabs an assist on his 100th cap.

Sterling gets his 1st cap for England

Sahin played around 86 mins against Denmark. Agger was rested because of the injury.

Suso also made his debut for Spain's U-21

Sterling can still play for Jamaica. :coffee:

Really hoping Agger's injury isn't that serious. We've finally started to look calm at the back. :\

Wow, it hurt just watching that miss by Shelvey

But good that he scored from a similar situation.
Ince with a brace hmm That guy is bound to move from Blackpool in the summer, we'll see...

Jordan Ibe has looked really good in the reserves this season. And then there's Jerome Sinclair. I don't really think we should waste money on Ince when we've got two very similar players coming through who are only 1-2 years younger.

I wish Hodgson would have taken Gerrard and Johnson off early in the second half. We have a tough and tight run of games coming up and the last thing either needed was an extra 90 minutes.

At least they had a win to hold on to. Denmark got spanked by Macedonia and Olsen kept Agger on for 90 minutes Sad . Same with Luis playing 90mins in a futile match against Spain.

Borini could have grabbed a goal against Norwich if the defender hadn't stolen it from him. Mad

Agger salvages a point for Denmark with a sublime penalty   MOTM performance from him in two matches running for Denmark in the past week.

Shelvey scored a freekick yesterday for England U21.

England Under 21s:
Shelvey scored England's first.
Henderson assisted Wickham to make it 4-0.
Sterling, Robinson and Wisdom also featured.

England Seniors:
Gerrard assisted Rooney for a 1-1 draw. Future Liverpool star Jovetic played for the opponents.

Lorenzo Insigne with a deft display of skill dribbling past 2 from the midway followed by taking on the Dutch defender (Blind). Insigne then confuses the Dutchman with his quick feet and splits the defence onto Fabio Borini, who anticipates his way into the box with signiture intelligence, jukes and outwits the Dutch CB with a turnaround from his left from Insigne's precision pass followed by a clutch right footed finish that oozed class.

Pure clutch from Fabio who under Italia's worst time of the half while being relentlessly attacked by the impressive Dutch, scores the semi-final winner for Italia to send them into the final.

Fabio Proud

So happy for him.

Scored Italia's 2nd goal with a brilliant screamer from 20 yards after an attractive build-up play. Was the only forward for Italia who was troubling Espana when all hope was lost and roasted Marc Bartra more times than I can count.

Also made this orgasmic chip to Florenzi (whose skill was equally good).

Overall and excellent tournament. Scored 1 goal that sent Italia through the finals and one when down 2 goals v Espana and easily their best forward v us.

Where he differed is showing his creative side and much improved link-up play and never disappeared out of matches.

Shown he can use both feet perfectly. Reminds me of a young and raw David Villa

Keep scoring Borini

Suarez to roast Tahiti alone on Thursday tbh. Uruguay need a good GD as it looks like it'll be down between Nigeria and Uruguay obviously for 2nd place.
