I rreally do hate Marcelo dribbling though, because he loses a ball a lot when doing so. Sometimes he is extremely selfish, ofc this is just my observation. He has imrpoved considerably, but i would still start Coentrao over Marcelo as LB. Coentrao is not that bad going forward as people make it out to be. Plus, Ronaldo and coentrao play together in national team too so they might make a better chemistry.

Maint point: Marcelo *selfish + Ronaldo *selfish = poor decision making. Just my opinion.

I mean they just managed to get passed cpl first 16 in ages and they think they are the best, because of some ancient cpl trophy.

QFT,for some reasons lot of fans want to degrade Ronaldo and his contribution.Some even said he can be easily replaced with Aguero(cough*) and Nerman..I would like to see them getting triple teamed as Ronaldo every match.

No. I KNOW for a fact that Coentrao beat's Marcelo Defensively speaking. Marcelo is better going Forward but Coentrao is no slouch going Forward himself.

I only rate CR7, Arbeloa, Alonso, Diarra and Carvalho at Madrid as they are PL proven :coffee:

As everyone knows PL > all, also as everyone knows Stoke > Barca so why play CL football if you face the best competition in your own league ?

We are currently the 4th best in the PL so basically we are the 4th best in the world behind Chelsea, City and Utd.....

smh this forum is so lol, i swear if anyone say anything good about benzema your such a fanboy all of a suddend, we are talking about the same benz what owned man u, fiorentina, etc... with lyon here at 19-20 yrs old, and 1 1/2 bad seasons later he is rubbish and his name should never be mention in a good light again, end of the day he is a brilliant player and is fully deserving of the comparisons he get with r9

Somebody on one of the first pages said that if Ozil was the new Zidane, Marcelo was the new Roberto Carlos and Benzema was the new Ronaldo then Madrid might win some more things.

Even though i dont particularly like Real, I do rate Ozil extremely high. He is definitely worldclass to me. I would take him over 99% of other AMs out there.

I don't rate him to be worldclass now, but I can definitely see him becoming the best striker in the future because his potential is scary. His link-up play is great, but he still misses too many tap-ins for me. I am sure he will improve though. His first touch is extremely sexy too.

Even in terms of potential, If R9 ( at Benz's age) was a 9.5/10, then Benz would be 8.5/10 at best ( that is still freaking amazing but still).
