this whole goalkeeper discussion started off when some Bayern fan posted a thread on Neuer claiming he's the best in the world.

This Neuer debate has a sparked a flurry of these GK threads i suppose.

On the other hand, finally there is some talk about the goalkeepers and not only the strikers/midfielders. GKs (and defenders) are always way underrated compared with the guys who score goals.

I actually wanted to say that.I guess you for one must be very happy at seeing people having such an intense discussion on Goalkeepers.

Well, people should look out for the upcoming new German stars Ron-Robert Zieler and Marc-André ter Stegen, too. I still find it amusing that ManUtd let Zieler go for free and then they paid 20 mio Euros or so for David de Gea, while they already had a veritable GK jewel on their team.

Buffon back to his best !!! He is still top dog contrary to popular belief

He is at the very least the best GK in Serie A at present.You know Handanovic has actually made 2-3 errors this season.

Yeah, I still remember Seaman for that FK. Classic. It's always great when the GK is reaching backwards to get it but they just can't make it- makes it look so much better than it was. ah, good times.
