boateng is still my dream cb with badstuber ( i srsly believe he's going to be great)
both got technique, both are young, badstuber has the eyes of a cm and boateng is damn fast

The only problem with that pairing would be inexperience. We need an experienced defender alongside the kids, or they will have trouble adapting.

He has tons of potential, but serious injuries or just complete lack of playing time and confidence have slowed him down.

I've taken a personal disliking to Breno after his performance against Barca. Granted, he was young but he looked like he had no clue what he was doing O.o Contento and Jullich both have more "big-match" nerves imo. Even Badstuber is slightly suspect in huge games :S

I think Contento will become great. I really dont think we need Rafinha if we couldnt get Contreao. I would have been happy starting Contento.

We can't base the defense's performances on just a few games. I mean EVERYONE was shit and constantly rotated. Nevermind this season, where even our midfield was bad. The good thing is that these guys are all young and hungry, they can and will learn to defend properly.

Contento has some real potential, I agree. He's going to be stunted if Lahm switches flanks, but I hope they rotate.

I thought Contento would prefer to play for Italy, due to his heavy Italian roots.

He'd have more of a chance breaking through, anyways. All he needs is playing time.

Boateng is Germanys most pacey defender imho. Faster than Lahm (though Lahm has better acceleration)

Honestly, I was expecting both Alex and Boateng. If we get Boateng, I'd prefer a German player, though. NT players always perform beastly in Bayern.
