Suso in the 20-man squad for Sunderland, but still sounding a bit whiny on twatter. He either needs to take a break from tweeting or grow up a bit, going by his stuff this season... otherwise he could get himself into trouble with the club's managing staff.

I've been out of the loop here. Can you paraphrase what has been going on there?

And here is a lovely pic of our famous #10, Joe Co... Wait a second. That's not right. Assaidi stole Joe Cole's #10 sweatshirt? Hopefully the over-hype isn't contagious.

I have come to a conclusion that Doni wasn't even real. I think he was just a figment of our imagination. hmm

Fit or not, Rahim, Yasil, Suso, Pacheco are ahead of Joe in terms of picking order.

Suso, Sterling, Kelly, Borini, Allen, Henderson all under the age of 22 and featuring in the biggest derby in the world. Kudos to them. Showed passion and all played in a performance they should be proud of.

Borini was a tad disappointing imho. His work-rate is brilliant, but his touches and passes have been a bit of a let-down. Plus that he's not scoring..

BR injuries. "Fabio had a badly swollen ankle. Agger's doesn't look good, the medics were saying it might be a medial ligament. We'll see."

MCL is bad but not as bad ACL for athletes. MCL doesn't require surgery to fix and the worst cases miss about 8-9 weeks. Hopefully Agger's isn't serious.

Kelly's tweeted he'll be out of action until New Year..
Agger has probably that medial ligament damage and that'll probably be also some 3 months..
No news about Borini yet, but a swollen ankle shouldn't be too bad, perhaps a week or two.

*sigh*

Martin Kelly is likely to be out of action for a significant period of time after scans revealed he suffered an ACL rupture of his right knee during the match against Manchester United on Sunday.

The England international will now require ACL reconstruction.

Meanwhile, fellow defender Daniel Agger, who was stretchered off the pitch 13 minutes before Kelly limped out of action, has suffered a significant bone bruise to the left knee.

No ligament damage was sustained but further tests will be carried out before it can be established when he will be able to return to training.

To add to Brendan Rodgers' woes, Fabio Borini has considerable swelling to the inner aspect of his right ankle though no fracture was detected on the X-ray.

The club's medical staff will wait for the swelling to reduce before an MRI scan can take place tomorrow to assess any soft tissue damage and determine when he may be able to return to playing.

Looks like kelly is the only one out for a while, im no doctor and correct me if im wrong, but looks like neither fabio or agger will miss more then 3-4 weeks if the scans don't reveal anythign new.

ACL for Kelly? Doesn't that mean he'll be out for longer than until New Year? Sad

Apparently a ACL takes about 6 months to heal, expect him back near the end of the season

Lucas tore his ACL.

He's done for the season for me, even f he recovers, no way I play him. You have to be cautious with this stuff.

Last year Canales came back from a ACL tear near the end of the season and immediately tore it again.

We're covered on the flanks no need to risk it.
