His confidence just amazes me. Its different than Bendtner's, because it seems that Szczesny knows he's a great keeper (or can be one) but doesn't feel the need to share that with the world.

Stopped a low shot into the corner after seeing it way late, then stopped a half volley shot from Richardson(?) to keep the game 0-0

Starting to pick up form again. He did really well in the air today and saved some pretty tough shots. They were ground shots though, which he usually saves. It's the ones that have a trajectory in the air that he doesn't necessarily do well against.

Takes nothing away from the performance though, he was great

Kept the morale and the game alive with that AWESOME save from Aquilani's(?) point blank shot.

We can safely say that our goalkeeping problem has been taken care of

As amazing as Szczesny was today.

The Nocerino "save" was by no means miraculous.

Unless you mean shooting it right at a goalkeeper while you have yards of space to slot it into.

If anything, Love Nocerino who embodied his whole disastrous game just by that sitter missed.

I thought he was thisclose to ruining the comeback with that pass to Song which Ibra picked off.

But yeah, overall Szczesny did well when called upon.
