One of the most underrated goalies lately, he's been in God form for a while now ever since Fabianski got injured. Pretty much annuled the need for a solid goalie and it feels good that our backup is also very good.

So here's a thread to spread the love.

I don't think he is underrated, he simply has been Arsenal's number 1 for such a short period that there hasn't been time for his hype to grow yet.

But Arsenal's 'keeper worries seem to be a thing of the past for sure.

Szczesny has added that "wowza" factor to his game. Last season, he was solid, didn't make any mistakes but sometimes you got the feeling that he could have done a bit more to stop some goals. This season, he has been doing some cracking stuff. He pulls off those saves that make you cringe your teeth if you're the opposition, or jump off of your chair and kiss the T.V. if you're an Arsenal fan.

The guy is a beast and that penalty save was just top class. Now i really feel safe when he is at the goal.

Jenkinson is very shaky at LB. Yeah, he's very solid defensively in RB, but needs to improve going forwards. No matter, better to be solid than anything.

I think Wenger would rather train Sagna (God) at LB than take the risk with a youngster. He's been starting at LB since the Liverpool game and I don't think it's gonna change at OT unless we buy a true LB all of a sudden.

Having recently reviewed the highlights of Udinese vs Arsenal, Manchester City have put up a bid of 50 million euros for Szczesny. It is being reported that Nasri will be used to bump that price down by a couple of million

not miles but De Gae is better but not currently....as he hasn't adapted to EPL physicality yet...and spuds didn't give him much trouble....

currently Woz is better then Da Gae.....in the future....probably Da Gae...but you never know..he could flop in the epl if he doesn't get used to it

It might have been a different story but for Szczesny's second-half penalty save from Antonio Di Natale, which preserved Arsenal's aggregate lead, and the goalkeeper revealed he had indulged in a bout of sledging while Di Natale prepared to take the spot-kick.

"I gave him a little bit of stick and was probably not very nice to him but it worked so I am delighted,'' Szczesny said. "I told him he wasn't good enough, I was too good for him and he wasn't going to score - but in a nice way.

"I got in his head in the head in the end because he missed the penalty.''
