Spainards (not all) think very highly of themselves.
Sometimes pretty much over anyone that is different.

Racism over there is common towards Hispanics (from the americas) and I've talked to many people who agree.

Like I said not everyone but it is very common.

This one lady, friend of my parents, lived in Spain for like 8 years working in a children or something idk what exactly. But she had a masters in psychology and she told us its pretty bad at times ( she's from chile)

I'm not a Spaniard and I'm not a racist or nationalist. It's just coincidence that I happen to dislike majority of our Portuguese based guys. Carvalho is pretty much only guy I can stand. Others seems to be massive douchebags, whiners or nutcases.

Spaniards don't hate Portuguese as its far from it.

Its actually the complete other way around where the Portguese are so bent on disliking us that we almost tend to sympathize. We couldn't care less about the Portuguese. Don't believe me? Go to Portugal and you will see remarkable instances of serious inferiority complexes towards us. Choose as you will how it is.

There is no Iberian rivalry since we Spaniards have rivalries our communities and provinces, not with the Portuguese Laughing

never the full match but you will see him on the right in about every match, if only for a few attacks

particularly against barca when he cant beat alves you will see him switch with di maria, or ozil will float more left.

I don't know why everyone is saying the this guy is arrogant, he is made by the press to look like a bad-boy IMO... he looks very humble, he works harder than most of the players, he doesn't know his limits and from what I've read he is a great friend, teammate.
