I've always had this impression of him, but I'm glad he came out and confirmed my thoughts. I think because of that Pioli would do very well in the CL. I said it before, but I'll say it again, expect a Milan underdog deep CL run in the next few years.

Modern football is all about having five attacking players in their respective channels, and then having five defensive players covering their back. The key is then having complimentary profiles between them who can balance each other's movements.

We have the framework, now it's all about adding quality to those roles.

Another thing I noticed in our last game is how aggressive we are off the ball.

It's like a pack of hounds chasing after the ball. I wonder if we are leading the high-intensity running stats.

Fiorentina is that club capable to get relegated with Batistuta and Effenberg in 1993 ... But anyway not

Cagliari was doing ok up until late 50 early 60 mins. but they were absolutely disastrous with those stupid attempts of crosses that were nowhere going straight to handanovic. Then right after hakimi came things changed swinging towards inter with barella goal onwards.

Fiorentina, that team has tough games throughout Jan, so they could very much be clinging on relegation zone by feb.

Saw Inter trailing at the 70th minute and didn't even bother to follow the match. I knew they'd come back comfortable. They are surely winning the Scudetto.

Cagliari and Genoa did everything they can to implode against Inter and Juve (less Genoa, who should be have been losing by the penalty).

Seriously, what's wrong with these teams, they fail at basic defending clearances and commit the stupidest of penalty fouls. Hopefully, Parma does the same for us.

This must be our most unbalanced match, they scored with their single chance, we scored 6, 3 of which were ruled off for slim offsides and a handball. 70%+ possession, double digit corners.

Pur players weren't even fully motivated for the first half, noticeably slower pace from the team.
