Most overrated PL player in a long time, people will forget that when he bangs in a 30 yarder now and again though.

So, as it stands, Liverpool only need to win their next 6 games to be crowned Champions.

If City drop more points, they can win it even sooner.

You'll still have Liverpool fans proritising winning the league and claiming it's not over yet tho.

Tbf i understand why Klopp does it, he doesn't want the players to get complacent.

The fans should undoubtedly get carried away though lol.

Mole is spot on once again. I know you were the original Mahrez hater, but I've been spewing Mahrez slander for the past few months myself. Sane can't come back soon enough.

Slander is the best imo, but quite frankly Pep can't escape criticism for this. He's the one who bought Mahrez in the first place and even played him above Sane when both were healthy lol.

I’ve never been the biggest Mahrez fan, but I recognize that he’s a very good player who has his ups and downs, just like Sterling, Son and pretty much everyone else. People on here are quick to bash these players when they are having an off game, but take it for granted when they carry their teams. Of course, Mahrez isn’t a player who typically carries his team, but he certainly deserves credit when he is decisive. He may be overrated by some, but that doesn’t mean he’s awful.

You have a personal problem with Mahrez? Gündogan and Rodri were far worse not to mention substitutes Cancelo and Jesus who made poor decision after poor decision.

Mahrez is the clown who needs 5 dangerous opportunities to produce something. KDB put him in such a good position to just cutback the ball to Gundogan or Aguero and Mahrez decides to pass the ball behind them...

He's also the one who gave that awful corner which led to Zinchenko conceding a tactical foul and getting a red card which ended up being the reason City lost.

The game was already lost when Jesus and Cancelo came on. City lost the game because of their forwards who are also shying away from penalties now because they can't score them for shite. I don't rate Rodri and I only think Gundogan is good as a DM (bad penalty from him too). So I don't care about them.

Not taking anything away from Liverpool and their assistance from VAR and the Prem officials, but must be a bit of a sting in the tail for Liverpool fans that their long-awaited PL title comes in a season when United, Arsenal and Chelsea are at their worst, Tottenham have found their rightful level again, and Pep's expiry date at City has come full circle.
