Hazard looked good.

Started the attacking play wide left but came inside into space behind Benzema. Working the entire attacking line from left to right.

Still not in 6th gear. He in about 4th

Hopefully by February 24, he's firing on all cylinders

thing now is to maintain the intensity in further games...but that's what scares me with Real, we play a good game and i'm like why cant we play like this every week. and i get it not all teams are the same, but sometimes i dont even know, all i want is a bit of imaginativeness and creativity in attack. hopefully at least our next two games lets try and maintain this

Most of the players in the starting eleven where rested midweek against Alcoyano.

They were fresh, that's why they played well. In my opinion.

You can't start Kroos and Modric and Benzema every game.

Which goes back to incorporating the younger players. The season is condensed. You have to rotate.

You have to rotate but when Zidane was doing rotations and playing everyone he was also dropping points. You can only rotate as much as the bench guys are performing well. If you everytime you play a certain player, he performs poorly, you have less incentive to play him again.

So which do you prefer?

Exhaust the first team squad and cause them to gradually decline, lose games and risk injury.

Or incorporate some squad players, with the intention that with game time they'll get better and help win games.

I prefer the latter.
