On topic if we do even qualify for the CL it will be a disaster within the competition itself unless Piatek continues to bail us out.
I grew up watching Serie A so have always maintained an interest in the league, however, I haven't watched a game this season, just use the GL app or Flashscores and follow the news every week or so. Juve's current era of league dominance makes it incredibly boring and anytime anyone hypes up a potential contender, they quickly prove to be pretenders.
Last time I was invested in the league was Montella's Fiorentina
As for beefs with Milan and Juve, I don't even remember when or why that started. But I'm in too deep now.
Actually, I think the Juve beef came from the fact Surag is basically the Juveindian version of me and one of the most active posters back in the day.
Anyway, hope to see you in the EL thread next season. Will probably ask you for breakdown on whichever slovakian farmhands we face.
The only reason I started beefing with you is because you would take shots at Milan constantly while arguing with ES. If we get in the EL again next season I sincerely hope we face Man Utd so we can end this once and for all.

Why thank you Firenze for what was a very comprehensive explanation.
Always wondered anyway so had to ask but always glad to see you hop in here whenever you can discussing Calcio.
As for EL I am the self proclaimed proprietor of marketing and spreading interest in the league here back in 2011+ or so when it was a depressing debacle and still prefer this to the UCL so happily will provide you with the finer nuances of Gżira United to the stars to watch out for in Bala Town from Wales.

I say we should absolutely play our best against Atalanta. They're a bigger threat in UCL than Milan.

Would have been legit to fear Chievo in 2015, back then you could effectively expect them to screw you in a jammy match. In 2019, come on
Here's my theory
Rob has trauma from Inter's shit decade after 2010. Too much disappointments that now he can't even imagine a joy to come for free without complications.

Indeed my worst football trauma are of previous era. The last ones are as a holiday... Imagine to get knocked out from Helsinborgs in CL play off with Recoba to miss penalty kick on 90', losing a derby 0-6, a scudetto in last matchday after you were winning for 2 times, get knocked down in Euroderby semi-final for a double tie (it happened exactly one after the other )
Supporting Inter 's always been as traveliing on roller coasters, so you can give nothing as expected. Nothing is expected . It is both for victories than for defeats . From treble season to nothingness.
In fact I hope to not play last matchday with just the victory as good result . We play against Empoli but on the other and PSV experience reminds me something

Re: 2018/19 Calcio Saga
Cagliari got away without even a tap on the fingers Remember the owner who ask to stop making a big deal about that. Clearly this club passively approves racism. We will only see changes once the Fifa itself feels necessary to intervene.
What a joke, if i was FIGC's president there would be actions taken...
1. Identify the racist fans and ban them for the rest of the season
2. Identify the racist fans and ban them forever
3. Empty stadium
4. Points deduction
5. Relegated, fuck you

Re: 2018/19 Calcio Saga
Same thing with Bakayoko, you could literally hear the monkey chants on the feed against Lazio. They didn't take any action then.
Same thing with KPB in 2011 and Muntari.
It hasn't changed then, it won't change now.

Lazio champions, 2-0 in the coppa final. Sergej and Correa at the end. Tight and intense final.

This qualifies Lazio for the EL. Now one of Torino, Roma and Milan will lose out of europe.

Lol. punti fermi means fixed points or the unmovable and it's the top row.
The second row, in scadenza, are the ones with expiring contracts
The third row is incerti, which means the uncertainties.

He played in the last couple of games. I think Calabria and Conti, the guys ahead of him, were/are injured

Robespierre wrote:Casciavit wrote:Is it me or is Allegri literally talking about how much he hates football theorists every week? They're long interviews too. It seems like he hates the footballing culture in Italy so expect him to move to the PL once his Juve stint is over.
Exactly, Allegri said literally to dislike " theorists" on Sky Italy and that caused the dissing between him and Adani
I don't like Adani particulary because he Is the most 'hipster ' pundit there , but his criticism was quite correct
If i think to the defensive thesis by Allegri after Juve Torino and before of Liverpool Barca then.. ( it was a new dialougue between him and Adani , tried by Sky so as to create "peace" between two men )
He justified himself with
- Injuries in CL are decisive ( but Liverpool scored 4 goals against Barca without Salah and Firmino )
- If you have Messi ( he has CR. And anyway Messi got knocked out then)
- In CL you need of players for last 100 metres if you want to win it, and just few teams are used to do It (mmm he minimized his players in this way. And Liverpool and Tottenham haven' t these players . Yet one of two teams will win It )
We'll see what it happens after next meeting between him and Agnelli. His contract is going to expire next year too
You know I don't disagree with him that much. Yes, this season was an anomaly in that sense, but in general, I believe he's quite correct. However, I guess the Juve management want to hear something different and they might use this season as reasoning as to why Allegri's incorrect.
I think he should move tbh. He's already rebuilt the squad once, and he's been there for five years which is a long time in football management now. Who do you think Juve would replace him with?
