Why was it disallowed btw? I just watched it on the GL APP and i can't tell why lol.
Was it a foul in the build up?

I hope Poch realizes that Spurs still need to finish in top 4 and at least tries to gain a point

Lol, it was a clear offside, simple as that.
It seems a lot of ppl hate Pep and MAn C also
I felt strange since I support them for the EPL, but was siding with Spurs since much more confident we would beat them if we meet in the final

Regarding the game setup though, gotta say both managers do both well and things could have done better. Poch deserves priase more though I think since the injuries, and he put in an attacking lineup, as well as Llorente instead of just trying to hold their advantage.
Pep I thought got a lot of things right and MAn C created a lot of chances, but still his teams will always be weak defensively. Bottom line, his teams need to do a lot to score goals, yet concede goals too easily, so it will always be difficult if u cant keep clean ups in this CL level, unlike the EPL were opponent defenses arent as good.

Anyways.
I hope people realise what Tottenham and Pochettino are doing is truly magnificent. Saying this as an Arsenal fan even.
It has to be appreciated.

With that team, with the many injuries they've had, the small squad, I completely agree.RealGunner wrote:Anyways.

After this game for all Spurs have annoyed me through the years with the media circle jerk over them (in England and USA), their players, their managers and their overall essence;
Tonight they have won me over and the inaugaration for their magnificent new work of architecture that is their stadium, now they are a team to take seriously and for years to come after this.

Is it me of Ederson really average as a goalkeeper? Sure he is good with his feet and plays the sweeper keeper role well but he left a lot to be desired with his goalkeeping over the course of these two matches.

I do agree that he's not an elite GK in the mould of Neuer, Ter Stegen, Alisson

Definitely overrated outside of his fantastic skills and bravado with the ball. Just commits so many sins in that respect.

Dont worry. Ole is just doing the groundwork for Poch to take over in 2020.

Re: UEFA Champions League QF 18/19: Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester City
The reason Neuer was regarded as a world class goalkeeper was because he was a monster in goal. The ball playing skills and sweeper keeper stuff came later, and were more of a bonus. His reputation had always been his amazing shot keeping and handling.
Whereas with Ederson I think he is not even top 10 in EPL when it comes to...you know...goalkeeping stuff.
